It works. Locks and unlocks. Comes with more keys than I'll ever lose. No complaints here.

I lost the keys to my harbor freight tool box. I drilled out the old lock and installed this one. It is a great upgrade. works way better than the stock lock and came with lots of extra keys.

Though these parts are inexpensive and simple, they don't fit. Not even close.

Grainger was about $5 cheaper after I received this one.

I had to remove 1/4 of an inch off the end of my craftsman locking bar on my rolling tool box cabinet. For the lock to fit up where it would turn the drawer lock rod. And it worked great then.

I just got a Westward tool chest at work and somehow lost the keys. I was under the assumption this kit would have multiple keys. Yes, it has 8 keys but they are all the same 0001 with the 0001 lock. My tool chest lock was a 0002, they didn’t work. So I drilled out the lock and put this new lock in. I guess the positive is that I have 8 keys for it now. I wouldn’t recommend this for a lost key but I do recommend you are replacing a lock, it was fairly easy to install.
