I had my doubts- the box looked pretty rough when it came in but the desk was very intelligently arranged and packaged with foam and there was not a single scratch or dent on it. The desk itself is EXCELLENT - the metal leg's welds are good along with the paint job, the desk surface looks well done- I don't expect any de-lamination. Putting it together was a snap! The included s-shaped allen wrench made it so easy, it was like winding a clock. The appearance with the white legs and light oak top made my covid office pop! The desk is quite sturdy and could probably hold a lot more weight than my laptop, monitors etc. I also like the dimensions of this desk which are perfect - I have room for coffee or lunch etc and can keep on working. Finally, I'm sure this was built in China, - I don't think it shipped directly from there though unless I got lucky. I got this desk I think in about two weeks. Anyway - VERY happy with this product - good price/value - highly recommend ! Company also communicated well !!!

I received my desk two days after I ordered it and though the box had some damage, the product itself was in perfect condition. It is a bit heavy, which was a pain because I had to lug it upstairs from my lobby (thanks to FedEx being too lazy to bring packages to my apartment door). The weight and size of the desktop also made it a bit unwieldy when unpacking it, but once that was done, it was a breeze to put together. If you can handle Ikea furniture assembly, you can definitely handle this. It took me roughly 30 minutes in all to unpack, assemble, and then move it into place in my office. If I had someone helping me, I probably would have done it in 20. So far it seems quite sturdy for a flatpack item and it's not wobbly or anything like that. And no, it's not fancy or high-end looking, but for the price I think it's a really good product.

sturdy desk that isn’t too heavy. the size of perfect for my work from home set up with two monitors. it can be pretty compact for moving. overall, i’d buy this desk again

I have 2 of these and they were easy to assemble. They look nice also. One for computer and one for projects. I like the light wood top also.

Ordered two of these desks to quickly expand our home office after comparing in detail to similar products by Tribesigns, Need, Zinus and others. Desks were well packaged and arrived undamaged despite rough handling in shipment. They seem sturdy with no wobble and capable of bearing a substantial load. The top is smooth and suitable for writing with none of the fake tactile grain described in other products. It could be thicker and the frame could benefit from a center support under the desktop. As another reviewer stated, the desktop edges do have a veneer or "sticker" of simulated plywood, which is probably the worst aspect of the design - it's not convincing and cheapens the look. For the price point, the desks are fine and will serve their purpose until upgraded - they're not perfect, but overall equal to the competing brands and probably a step above.

Was in a hurry to get a desk for my daughter, since she is doing virtual classes at home. It was a little pricey for us, but we see it as an investment. This desk is super sturdy, easy to put together and it has some weight to it not flimsy at all. So my daughter will be able to use it for many years to come. Very happy with this purchase. It did get delivered with a few cosmetic defects, looks like they were made during the shipping process (the delivery packaging was super torn up) but not so bad that it needs to be returned. Super happy with this purchase.

I ordered two of these desks. The first I assembled looked great, was sturdy, and I was very excited for the desks. The other was damaged in shipping. When I reached out to their customer support, they replied within hours and issued a refund to correct this. I could not recommend this desk enough, especially with such kind and helpful customer support!

Like other reviewers, I had to upgrade the desk in my home office space as I continue to Work From Home. Since I am used to a flex office situation, I didn't need drawers, cord management or anything special...just a larger desk to fit my laptop, keyboard and extra monitor. The price point for the size was perfect. I originally ordered the white legs, but it was delayed several times. I'm happy that the oak top is light colored, more like birch or pine. Another reviewer mentioned the weld joints were a bit sloppy. I agree, but at least they are not in an area you will ever notice or see again. The black powder coat on the legs was even, with no scratches or thin spots. When it arrived, I was a bit concerned there might have been some damage during shipment. I was amazed that there was none. It was packaged pretty well with corner guards and foam pieces along the sides which keep the legs from sliding around. Easy assembly, with extra screws/bolts just in case. I don't have any concern about the edge coverings being stick-on laminate because they smoothly meet the table top and look fine. Yes, the desk top is particle board with laminate coating. I always use a coaster, so I am not concerned about the potential of causing damage with my coffee cup or drinking glass. I'm very happy with this purchase. I am thinking about ordering another to use as a work bench in the garage!
