well made
nice product. will use on my unique made double screen doors as soon as son shortens the rod as doors are only 1 1/2 inch thick.

Rust issues
Love the way it looks on the door to my outdoor shower. Had one from 5 years ago that finally rusted enough to break (pic) so I ordered another one. Within 1 week there is already rust (pic). On an exterior piece of hardware I’d expect better but the price is right. The screws are garbage and if you don’t treat them like the soft metal princesses they are they’ll strip and look shiny and then rust. Two of the Phillips head screws came closed up so I had to use some of the original flat heads. My last complaint is the shaft that comes with the kit is 2 3/4” long and the receiving end inside each knob is 3/4” deep so your door has to be roughly 1 1/4” thick. I had to use the original shaft (possibly came with 2?) which is longer but still not long enough for my 3” door (not abnormal thickness for an fenxe/gate). I had to Mcguiver some hot glue inside the receiving end of each knob so pin could reach both knobs through the door and still be snug.Still, love the look but wish it came with better screws, at least one other shaft size and overall to be made some something rust resistant. Will probably reorder in five years.

Like a miniature latch
Ok I can't begin to explain how bad these things are. First of all they are absolutely tiny. Secondly the amount of side to side play in the button is insane. It's so bad I thought I got a defective product, but once I opened the second one it was the same way. The latch bar itself is so thin I would expect a small kitten to be able to push the gate open. These might be suited to a small children's playset or something, but no way you could ever expect to keep a gate closed with these. Literally the worst latches I have ever seen.

Looks nice/ Cheap material
The piece itself looks nice but throw away the screws that are included with it. Snapped the screw head right off in pre-drilled pine.

Renovators Supply Manufacturing Turn Latch
Works ok, gets rusty and runs down gate, needs lube every couple months.

Great handle!
Not sure about the reviews saying they're weak. Mine seems to be perfectly acceptable for my bedroom door. Very smooth operation, nice finish, made "heavy duty" enough for daily use without complaint. They aren't bank-vault heavy duty, but for a gate? More then acceptable. I believe the biggest issue is user error, or bad installation.
