Great wall plate when running multiple cables out of a wall
So as mentioned in the headline this plate is used for when running multiple cables and or a verity of cables through a wall. You can also use this in my instance where I am not quite sure of how many cable will be end up going through that outlet and need something temporary until you everything is done without leaving an eyesore. The plate is well made and it even split into a top half and bottom half so if for example you have and oversized plug that wont fit through the hole in the middle you can slide the two parts apart and re connect then with the cable in the hole. The plate is easy to use and well made. The shipping was fast and package was not damaged in anyway

Perfect for large cable sizes
Very interesting product. This is the only offering that I could use due to my cable size. I am routing a 12/3 extension cord through a garage wall into a utility area. The ends on the extension cord are very large, but the way this cover comes apart - it's perfect for this type of large cable routing. I would recommend this product, and will be buying another one soon.

A real time saver.
Love that the cover splits into 2 pieces. I didn't know this existed before now. It saved me from having to re-fish the wires down the wall again.

Looks ok
It's okay, but to make it look good you need to trim the flaps to make them fit around the wire.

Perfect for hiding wires/cables access
I wanted to have no wires exposed when I mounted my TV on the wall since there would be nothing to disguise them.We installed an outlet behind the TV... but for all the other cords that might be used in tge future- such as: cable, satellite, and/or speaker wires - I needed to find a way to get them up to the TV without wires hanging. We installed a PVC pipe behind the wall. This will allow us to easily fish any cables up to the tv. Only issue was that I didn't want a hole-I wanted it to look clean and professional. These fit my needs perfectly. Now I didn't have an electrical box in the wall, so the screws included were unusable.Instead, I just used small drywall screws and fastened directly to the wall. They are black, but I can add a drop of white paint to their heads later if I wish.It took me about 10 hours- over the course of several days to get it how I wanted it, but these covers really were the finishing touch.

Did not fit perfectly.
The media could not be loaded. As others have said this does not fit perfectly on the low voltage boxes. Mine did go on easily and it covers the whole in the wall.So now the rest of the story. I recently replaced my old TV and new one sits higher on the wall. This made the low voltage cable box a bit visible at the bottom of the screen. I never installed a plate over it but now I needed one. I like this split design because I did not have to disconnect the cables and the center hole was large enough for my big cable set up. I have a very large 6 in one fiber optic hdmi cable and this worked great. However when I tightened the plate a gap opened in the center. I’m not returning this because you can’t see the gap from the angle we sit at but if you want a clean tight look this may not be for you.
