Better than cotton ones
So, like a lot of people, I saw this and wondered how that could be hygienic. But, you know, I love my reusable cotton pads for cleaning my face and I get a bit extra happy know I'm not helping fill a landfill. So, you know, I thought it was worth a try.It is better than the cotton swabs. Now, I know people say not to put them in your ears because it can damage them, but a lot of people ignore that and I am one. This review is based on putting it in your ear.So, the first thing I'll mention is the bud area. It has little bumps on it that help get more wax than the cotton ones.My ears have been less itchy since using this, and I believe that that is down to the material of the buds as regular ones tend to dry my ear out, which doesn't happen with this.I can apply just a liiiittle too mulch pressure to the earbud trying to make sure I can reach the top of the ear canal too. The stick on this is flexible enough that I have not yet managed to create the curve in it that usually ensues when using a regular swab like this. And it is SO easy to clean. Just run the buds under hot water and you can see the wax disappear and not stick. I then take a pinch of soap and rub it over just to make extra sure. Then a rinse and you're done. The protective case is also really good. It has a mini mount to put it on inside for it, and the case has a swivel lid so you'll never lose it. If you drop to knock it over, the bud doesn't call out, unlike a box of the cotton ones. And we all know that most of us will pick them off the floor and shove them back in the box (As long as it's relatively clean) and then probably use them later. So again, more hygienic depending on your habits.Anyway, I do really recommend this. I feel like I can use it for years if I treat it right, you create less waste, you get a little pride in such a tin, simple thing. Until it becomes commonplace like it should.

Yes of Course
It’s a great product from a lovely company who are changing our rubbish output one person at the time.I do find that I need to wrap a tissue around the bud to dry my ears because they don’t absorb. They are super for cleaning however.I do recommend this, just be aware that getting water out is a little tricky-er but it’s a small thing compared to ditching all these old fashioned cotton buds, many with plastic, into landfill and eventually the sea or wherever.

Overall Good
Bought as a replacement for an earlier one I have lost. The quality has dropped for the plastic case, as it is quite flimsy now. But the bud itself still good quality.

Great product but!!!
The product was a great product but after 11 months it has snapped in half so no longer useable. Really disappointing as now having to buy another one! Has not been used overly much either!

Wouldn’t go back to cotton ear buds
Took a few weeks after purchase to pluck up the courage to use these, after reading reviews and seeing the nobbly bits ‘in the flesh’, thinking they’d be uncomfortable. After having a few goes, figuring how to work them best to suit my ears and how best to clean the buds, I’m not looking back - I’ll never use a disposable cotton buds again. What works for me with these is rotating motion on the way in and out of the ear, not toooo far, loads can be picked up. I don’t find them uncomfortable. All ears are different I’m sure. I’ll wipe the bud after each in/out with a bit of loo roll/tissue (rather than washing as I find this is more effective for removing the wax). I’ve been using these buds for about a year and a half now at time of review.

Brilliant idea!
I wanted to move away from using single use cotton buds and so searched for recyclable alternatives. By chance these came up on my search and I’d never heard of reusable cotton buds. The price made me stop and think, probably just because it’s so much more expensive that my usual throw away ones. However, when you consider the impact on the environment and the fact that these can be reused then it’s a bit of a no brainer. They arrived quickly and I bought 1 for everyone. It’s great to have a range of colours so everyone got to pick a different colour and no chance of mix ups!!!! Overall I’m very satisfied with these, an environmentally friendly alternative.

Reusable what? Quality is low and does not pair with its sustainability measures
Considered buying this from the sustainability metrics involved but I am not sure about the silicone quality. The silicone does not grip to earwax the same way cotton would. I’m not sure how this can be the long term solution to earbuds I was hoping it would of. If sustainability is higher than the comfort im not sure how the market could adapt in this current climate. the Case broke after dropping once 6 months ago. The earbud has since snapped too. Have made this review to warn and educate otherwise before making a purchase of this product. Reusable where? Great delivery packaging and prompt delivery otherwise. My earbud has actually snapped after one year of use. This is not the last SWAB, its the last FAD.
