I wanted to love this. Love the color and love the general feel of it. The inner silicone wrapper fits fine with all of the holes lining up correctly. The problem is that the plastic case is not deep enough to properly fit over it. The holes seems to line up, but if the volume controls are in perfectly, the other side has a gap and I can't use the power button....and vice versa. I had read other reviews about having to fiddle with getting everything to line up, so spent a fair amount of time trying to see if it was a matter of the inner piece not being in the exact position. But moving that at all pulls from the opposite side such that the edge of the phone could slip out. It's so close to being a great case that it's just disappointing.

Other than some difficulty getting the case on properly, I haven't had any problems with it. At first, when I thought I'd had the case on well, it was giving some problems with the buttons, however, once adjusted it settled. Very snugly fitting case. I drop my phone at least once a week, and sometimes several times a day (because I'm just clumsy like that). Haven't had any problems with the phone after a drop (never have, regardless of the case, so I don't know how much to attribute to the protection capabilities of the case :/ - just thought I'd mention it). The front of the case is little more shallow than I'm used to so I'm a little worried about the screen, in the event of more falls, but I'm hoping for the best.The color isn't quite what I expected but it's not insanely far off and it's not ugly so I won't fret about it.It's cute, non-bulky and doesn't hamper access to the charging port (plus my phone is still well and good despite a couple falls), so I'd call it an overall good buy.

So I've had this product for not even an hour and I'm not that impressed. My initial thought when opening the package was that it looked pretty decent and professional, but after taking it out and putting it on, I realize it has one flaw. It doesn't fit. The rubber part goes on well enough but the hard piece is a bit problematic. It's tight and won't go over the rubber piece all the way. It makes it extremely hard to use the volume buttons. I can turn the volume down but for some reason, I can't turn it up. But regardless, I'm not complaining. It was a pretty good deal for under 7 bucks.

I must confess this case saved my phone from disaster. I left the darn thing on my hood and long story short, I ended up finding it the next day about a half mile from home... I first saw the back of my phone without the case on it, I then looked 'upstream' and the case was cracked and sitting just on the shoulder of the road. INCREDIBLE. NOT A SCRATCH on my Samsung. I was actually thinking I was going to be getting/buying a new phone but this case saved it. So needless to say, this is the second purchase and I'm hoping for same level of protection as before. The plastic and rubber pieces had visible flash that I had to carve away with an X-acto knife before the could fit. Once I got the phone to fit, the volume buttons would not work, so I had to cut away the hard plastic around the volume buttons. The rubber is too soft, and the plastic is too thick. I've seen much better cases that follow the same concept. Skip this one and go with something else.

I absolutely love this case! I've dropped my phone a couple of times and it's kept it nice and protected. The color is great and the rubber on the ends prevents it from sliding around. I'd definitely buy another one.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to use this phone case. When my phone is inside of it, I can't use any of the buttons on the side, top or bottom. The case seems sturdy but without being able to use most buttons I won't be using this case. For the cost it's not even worth the trouble of returning it. This is not the right case for my Samsung Galaxy S4 Active.

Silicone layer is too flexible. Because the plastic layer only comes around the edges of the phone on the two sides, it slides up or down by putting it in and out of your pocket. This caused the volume to get turned all the way up or down on its own which isn't a huge deal, but it is annoying.The silicone layer would probably have good shock absorption if it stayed in place. Again, because it is so flexible, it easily slides off the edges of the phone. This led to my screen cracking in a standard drop as I've had several times before. If the phone fell at a different angle it would have been fine, but the silicone layer just slides too easily.Good looking case, feels nice, and cheap.

it's still too early to tell if it will last like my last phone protector.the products feels good and it fits the phone pretty good.
