Is it perfect no, but its about the best out there. Still has the odd quirk but overall very good.
sound quality is actually good with the jbl speakers, its critical to get them perfectly placed pressing on your ears to get a good bass response, its light years ahead of my 4 year old sharktooth system (re branded sena) i had to put my helmet on and off about 20 times to get them dead on but after that the sound was significantly better.Setup pressing against your ears they are a little bit irritating at first but soon bed in to the shape of your ear. Volume wise if you turn of the automatic volume adjustment they can go painfully loud, even at 70mph with plugs in on an open bike, i dont need the volume up all the way to hear music and riding buddies clearly. The voice commands work ok ish, if its one that is built into the unit its pretty good, if you do a ok google or hey siri sometimes it makes a mistake, it works fairly well if your at a set of lights and you say ok google navigate to (wherever). it just finds the place and starts navigating no issues.the critical thing is in the settings for voice commands you need to set it to your regional dialect, i had it on english us and i was having a hard time with it (brit living in the usa) i set it to English British and bingo it worked, if your a non native English speaker id recommend you set it to you primary language, spanish, french, german etc.The most annoying thing is its not integrated with apple music on iphone or android(i tried both), you can play, stop, skip tracks, change volume with voice command but that's about it, to voice command you have to do a hey siri/ok google play this song, which is hit and miss at speed, but then it just plays that one song and stops. If you have spottify it works like a charm, even at speed, its just the hey siri/ok google that's fussy at speed, the built in to the unit commands for skip volume, mute etc are fine. The other annoying issue is there is a bug where sometimes when you have it on radio it can get messed up and no matter what voice command you give it or button you press it just ignores your command and increases the volume until its so loud you have to stop and power it off an on, its done that twice now in about 10 rides, hopefully they do a software update for that soon. Finally with regard to software updates, a point that i think is critical! yes they are regular and yes they add features and yes they fix bugs that was a big plus for me as their competitor sena drop a product and rarely if ever offer a software update or bug fix.If they are not already these guys will soon be the market leader, the unit is light years ahead of the competition in quality, integration, performance and warranty. Is it perfect absolutely not.... is it better than anything else out there hell yeah! overall its very usable, it automatically reconnects when riders get too far apart and it easily lasts on 12-14 hr days out riding with intercom on all the time, we don't even turn them off when we stop for a drink/lunch as battery life is not a concern.overall its a good product and getting better and better with every update, i feel like i invested well in a company that builds reliable hardware and cares about making its existing products better and better even after purchase with software updates.with regard to helmet fit i ordered the slim twin pack it come wit various different fitting parts and it fits on my arai signet x, even though its not listed, it does cover over the lower rear neck exhaust vent but its not an issue at all if your really worried about the vent order the bold and not the slim, but the slim will fit and work fine. it also fits on the new 2020 AVG Corsa R and my old shark evoline 2.

Excellent communicators but speakers are overrated.
Purchased as set for price break. Communicators work perfectly, once you decipher the directions, and learn the button sequences. Noise cancellation works wonderfully. Easily listen to the radio, chat with a fellow biker, or answer the cell phone all via voice commands works great. Charge even last for longer than my buttocks can. Only down side is JBL speakers only lasted for two or three rides before one gave out. Could not reach the technical support department to see about getting a replacement. JBL is overrated. UClear speakers are a great alternative should the JBL units give out.

really knocks out wind noise coming thru ear phones.
Used this cardo pack talk to replace factory intercom on Goldwing, if I had these 15 years ago I might be able to hear a lot better. The range between our two bikes was not quite as good as expected, lost some sound quality after dropping back to check range but still audible. Really amazed at sound quality just talking didn't have time to check with music. Knocked wind noise through ear phone. Voice commands were easily understood. picked up all my burps.

You’ll burn valuable riding time if you buy this
Installation is easy (lots of mounting hardware options provided) but pairing (Bluetooth) for is very frustrating. Instructions are bad and I didn't find many how to videos online. Supposedly both riders can listen to the same audio stream when paired but I was never able to get this to work. Save yourself from a headache and buy a Senna.

Group Sound and Volume
While connected to a group the music is hard to hear. It would be nice to be able to disconnect and then reconnect easily to the group. Especially when you ride with a couple of chatterboxes! I'm also having a hard time with the cardo commands while connected to the group. Phone commands are not working well for me, so I ask Siri to make calls if I need to. When not connected to the group sound is great nice and clear the commands work a lot better too.

Great product
These are great for talking with friends while dippin around. Easy to use once you get the basics. Battery lasts 7-8 hours with mild use talking and playing music. Just be sure to put the headphones level with your ears or it will be quiet. And the mic on the arm is directional. Great product.
