Contech ZenDog Calming Compression Dog Shirt, Small, Black

I haven't used them yet...I bought two to have "just in case" for smaller dogs I board via Rover.com...here are my first impressions.They're bigger than the reviews I read made them out to be. I bought them one size larger than I thought I needed and they're too big. They do have an awkward fit to it, in that you do have to slip the entire thing over the front legs and head of the dog, like pulling on a sweater over your own head. Then there are stretchy material and velcro to adjust the "hugging" level.This thing doesn't look or feel like I expected, like the other ones I've seen on the market. It seems like it could be awkward to use...here's to hoping it works better than it looks.

This is a great dog shirt. I have 7 dogs and they are all afraid of the thunder and lightening. Two of them will fight each other when it storms. I had my doubts about this when I ordered them; but my fears were all in vain. When I put these shirts on both of my dogs and when it stormed they were just as calm as could be. I was so glad that I had bought these for them I plan on buying 5 more for the rest of my dogs. Thank you Contech for these shirts.

it seem to help a little bit .... but..... had to be taken off and put back on becuz it would make the skin very dry

my dog acts like he is wearing a straight jacket! Not sure what else to do for him at this point. It seems the quality is good.

Really helps relax our terrier mix. Our rescue mutt suffers separation anxiety and sometimes has issues when traveling with us in the car. With the shirt on, she is much more relaxed and will even sleep when wearing it. The phermone drops aren't always needed but provide an extra layer of "help" when she could be especially anxious.

It was too small for my little corgi

Bunched up after 1/2 hour and became unusable. Dog just took it off and left it in the yard each time we tried to use it.

Helped calm our dog's anxiety somehwhat. But she would chew on it and rub against the walls. It didn't really hold up.

Saddly it did not improve my dog's anxiety issues

This is the best money I have spent in a long time, My dog is so nervous and is scared of all noises and being on his own without me.I got this in desperation that he would not take the door off while I was out.He is like a different dog since having the jacket on, he loves it.The big test will be when the fire works start.... I hope it helps the poor little fella he hates them.Wonderful little jacket washes lovely, hang up to dry at night and dry by the morning.I will be adding more later in the year, to see how it stands up to the fire works.

Reduces the anxiety in our dog.

Purchased size according to their chart sizing. The item didn't go anywhere near my dog size wise - it was far too small. Returned. Get the bigger size up - as in our experience we found - dont follow the chart.

I bought this to help with milo’s anxiety over fireworks. Bit challenging to get on but once he’s in it he relaxes totally. Money well spent !
