The media could not be loaded. I've had this dvd player for 2 years. I've read a lot of reviews stating it's not a regional dvd player. It is the region will need to be changed.Insert DVD - press stop on control - press 1 for region A, press 2 for region B, press 3 for region C.

I bought a series from the U.S. and my original Panasonic DVD player played every DVD except the last one. I bought this player hoping that it would play the DVD. Unfortunately, it had the same issue so I returned the DVD and bought a Sony player. The Sony player played the DVD with no issues.

That's exactly what I ordered easy to install easy to operate.

Resurrecting my recently re-discovered DVD collection after attic clearance. Plays everything, even some dubious self recorded stuff. Tiny profile, but just right for where I wished to place it. And does justice to material when in combo with new Ultra High Def Sony TV. Started my re-viewing with Apocalypse Now, Apocalypto and I Am legend. Looking forward to revisiting my old stuff. Didn't think I'd ever buy another DVD player - but Prime/Netflix doesn't have EVERYTHING.

The player works as a conventional blu ray player Only playing region B/2 blu rays and dvds. This was disappointing as its compact size and simple instructions that they said to change the region would of have made this a great player. Don't chance it, the player is not region free and probably never was. Don't buy it.

Easy to install, compact size, brought as most of my DVDS are region 1 the clarity is so much better too, especially as the DVDs are redone from the 1960’s. As, previous DVDs player, made original quality , look like it was painted!! Had a slip up with it, but manage with its help, to sort it out, as not the worlds best at technology!!!

Great DVD all regions player, remember, if you want an all regions player you must buy one that is ICOS chipped, this one is and it states that on the box, a small thing to note that if used with other Panasonic equipment the remotes for each unit may operate both units, to stop this go into set up menu and alter remote setting. eg. alter setting DVD1 to DVD2 on one unit (this has nothing to do with region codes, do not worry!} point and hold remote for 5 seconds at unit and this will then fix that unit so it's remote will not operate the 2nd unit

I purchased this for its multi region capabilities and sadly it wasn’t a multi region item so the description in the listing was completely false, after speaking to 4 different Amazon customer service reps I now have to send this back and wait about 14 days for a refund. Very inconvenient to me for a problem I didn’t cause or want. This listing must be changed or updated so other people don’t have this hassle.
