Simplicity4268 Baby Doll Clothes Sewing Pattern for Baby Boy and Girl by Teri, Size 15''

I recently left feedback for this as "fair", only because of the strong odor on the pattern. It was shipped in a box with other items so I'm not sure where the odor originated. The seller contacted me and offered to resolve the issue. I definitely received great customer service from the seller and wouldn't hesitate to recommend purchasing from them. As far as the pattern design, it's simple to adapt some parts and make it even easier. For example, why would a doll need pockets in their overalls? That's just more steps for sewing. You can pin or tape the pocket pattern piece onto the pants front piece of overalls and skip the pockets. If you prefer not to sew a band on the bottom of the pants, just cut them longer for a hem and skip cutting out the band piece. A decent variety of outfits can be made with one pattern.

I LOVE this pattern! I've made lots of doll clothes with it to fit a American Girl Bitty Baby doll. I especially like the banded legs - gives a finished look and no hem needed. Easy to follow instructions. The little details like mock pockets on bib overalls make them look so cute! Great job designing this pattern! Fits AG Bitty Baby perfectly.

Patterns were not quite as simple (few pieces) and had more "detail" sewing than I had wanted, but they worked okay for my needs. When I think Simplicity, I expect simple. My fault, not theirs. Nice patterns for cute clothes.

You need to have some experience with sewing for this pattern to make sense. Sewing terms are used and if you are not familiar with them, it will be tough to figure this out.....not for a beginner!
