Would recommend
This was exactly what I needed and wanted. My area's water is not great. I was able to install this myself. I already had the hole needed for the faucet, so that made it easy. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. The unit is a nice size and fits under my sink. I did not plan for the need for an outlet under the sink. I am just using an extension cable until I can get someone out. The unit is well made. Haven't had any issues with leaking. I felt the price (got it during prime sale) was very reasonable. I like that I can take this with me if I move. Overall, I'm impressed and enjoying it. The water tastes great. It doesn't take forever to fill a glass. It also has minimal waste water production. I'd recommend this option.

H2O expert impressed
I owned a successful marine aquarium service company for 15+ years and have been a reef tank hobbiest for more than 30 years. I know a lot about water quality, both for my reef tank water changes, and for my daily drinking water. I manufacture my aquarium water using RODI technology (reverse osmosis deionization), the only practical method for producing lab grade water with 0.0 TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). This takes constant digital testing of both my input city water and the output water after my filter. I am sure I have bored you to sleep but please WAKE Up. (In case you wonder why I don't simply drink the water from my RODI filter, one would need to add minerals back to it first before it would be safe to consume on any type of regular basis.) Now you know why I wanted a separate, dedicated Reverse Osmosis drinking water system for my family. After I Installed the Waterdrop Tankless Reverse Osmosis unit, (a very straight forward task that honestly should take the average person about 1/3rd the time of an old technology RO filter with pressurized water tank for drinking water), I was shocked to test the output water at the included metal faucet at a low TDS of just 3 PPM. My city water entering the Tankless system is currently at 140ppm. The fact that the Waterdrop system improves the water quality to only 3ppm without the use of dionization is AMAZING. Also, I turn on the filter and immediately test the water, thus there is no wait time required to let the water run before it is ready to drink. I have had my Tankless system running for months and it is rock solid at 3ppm. It is clean, delicious drinking water from an attractive, compact unit. I could not be more pleased. I also want to speak to the customer service I experienced. Unfortunately, after about 2 months of use, the 400GPD system would not turn on. I was really surprised when this occurred and emailed Waterdrop support without delay. Although I was well past the Amazon 30 day return period, the representative clearly cared about customer satisfaction and shipped me out a new, complete upgraded 600 GPD unit and a return postage paid shipping label for my original 400 GPD unit. He also sent me a free extra filter cartridge for the inconvenience I had experienced. I have had this replacement unit running for months without any issues. I would give Waterdrop 10 stars if it was allowed. Thanks for reading my lengthy, but honest review. Please buy a Waterdrop Tankless Reverse Osmosis filter, you will not be sorry you did!

Well worth the cost.
This is the best investment to my water in my house for drinking. I had it professionally installed because I wanted to be sure that it was installed properly. And what a difference in my water. My wife and I have stopped drinking plastic bottled water and are now exclusively drinking this water. The taste is great and save quite a bit from buying bottled water as well.

Love it!!
Love this. Our system was too old and we could not find replacement filters. Purchased this one mainly bc it only had two filters to replace and not 7!! I installed it with the only issue being trying to retrofit into previous connections without having to have the city turn off all water to the house bc previous installer put shutoff AFTER the connection. Otherwise it is a very straightforward easy install if you have the right tools suggested. One of the reasons I purchased it was the 1:1 ration compared to the 1:4 ratio of the old one. Runs quieter and I don’t hear water running into the drain for hours. Only drawback is it is quite a bit slower dispensing but with the water savings I can deal with it. Water tastes great and now trying to wean Hubby off buying so many plastic bottles of water!!! This unit saves me a lot of room under the sink.

Tastes Like a Mountain Stream (Minus the Hiking)
We’re on a well here, and while the water wasn’t terrible to begin with, it definitely had a bit of that “ehhh, maybe I’ll add some lemon” flavor. Not anymore. This thing has totally transformed the way we drink water. I actually find myself filling a glass and just drinking it straight; no powders, no citrus, no gimmicks. It’s that clean and crisp. Like… we’re basically snobs about it now. My partner installed the unit in the basement, ran the line up to the kitchen, and split it so it feeds both the dedicated faucet at the sink and the fridge. The fact that our ice is now filtered too? Huge upgrade. Same goes for the cold water dispenser; it’s all clean, and it tastes great. I honestly didn’t think I’d notice much of a difference with the ice, but it’s super clear and doesn’t mess with the flavor of drinks at all anymore. Another unexpected plus is how quiet it is. Since the actual system lives downstairs, we don’t hear it whirr or buzz when it kicks on; all you get is filtered water, no soundtrack. We didn’t go with the optional tank and it still keeps up just fine with daily use; cooking, dog bowl refills, coffee, you name it. If you’re even mildly handy or know someone who is, installation isn’t too bad. No complaints from my partner on that front. Honestly, if you’ve been on the fence about getting a reverse osmosis setup, just go for it. We use it constantly and I’m drinking more water than ever without even trying. That’s saying something for someone who used to need a splash of something fruity just to choke it down. This makes it taste like what water’s supposed to taste like… clean, cold, and honestly kinda fancy. If it breaks in two years I’ll cry, but until then I’m lovin’ it.

Much easier to install and change filters.
I am impressed with the Waterdrop osmosis system. I have replaced several of the older multistage systems over the years for various failures so I decided to try the Waterdrop. There are some significant benefits of the water drop system: 1. Much simpler installation - especially if you are replacing and older osmosis. 2. Takes up less space - this is an on-demand system so no storage tank. This means more room under your sink 3. BIGGEST reason: much easier to replace filters. Although I'm not crazy about a single source of replacement filters, the cost is the same as traditional osmosis filter replacements BUT WAY EASIER. Just twist to remove and replace the filters. There are also indicator lights to tell you when its time to replace them. Finally, my family agrees that this water tastes great - better than the only system I replaced. So its a win.

LOOK AT MY UPDATED PICS!
UPDATE Sept 2022: At 2 yrs the MRO filter must be replaced which I did. I also wrote my original review. Shortly after that replacement some black stuff came out of the dedicated faucet. I held my cup under the faucet, turned on the water and watched the black string come out of the faucet!!!! I have been suffering with abdominal cramps since Aug 1st and I realized that the problem started soon after I replaced the filters. I contacted the company. They told me I had to send a picture. I did. The same as I am attaching here. I also confirmed that installation was by a licensed plumber using all parts received from Waterdrop and that the first filter never had any such problem the entire 2 yrs. The black debris started after the replacement was installed and happed twice. Yesterday I had my water tested by an independent local entity. The results proved that the carbon filter is working perfect but the MRO is not working. A functional RO filter should resullt in TDS of less than 20 and mine was at 63 which is almost no filtration at all. They did not have the equipment to test the debris that came out of the dedicated faucet and I will have to send it off to another lab. The technician believes that the MRO filter may have been defective and that it is degrading. I included this information in my email to Waterdrop. They Waterdrop response was: "Waterdrop Representative #1 (Waterdropfilter Customer Service) Sep 11, 2022, 01:24 PDT Hi, Thanks for your reply; I really appreciate your time and effort. 1. I'm sorry for all the inconvenience caused, but again, the items in your picture is not coming out of our filters, for that we are sure." Again, I WATCHED IT spew out!!! I have a dr appt in 11 days and I will update this post but in the meanwhile I am only using bottled water. Today is day 3 of strictly bottled water and today is the best day I've had with my abdominal spasms since Aug 1st..............coincidence???? May 2022: Just had it's 2nd birthday. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Water tastes as good as NYC tap water, it's easy to change the cartridges which for me last 1 yr for top one and 2 yrs for lower one. I use this water exclusively for all consumption - drinking, cooking, washing veggies/fruit etc. The MOST IMPORTANT thing I believe is their customer service. Not only does a live person answer the phone but the email communication and follow up communication is exceptional. Reminds me of times long ago when customers were treated as VIPs. I would definitely recommend and I have recommended to my friends and family ;). Great Buy.

Compacto y eficiente

Ottimo gusto dell'acqua .

Solid System with Amazing Customer Support and Easy Installation
I have been using this unit for about 6 months now and it has held up great so far and continued to produce fresh and crisp tasting water on demand without any leaks or issues. The install was also very easy as I luckily had a hole in my granite countertop from a previous install. Although, you might need a professional to do that part for you if you dont want to ruin your countertop. I did also get a bit technical and invested in a TDS meter to test the quality of water being produced and if the RO was doing its job. After testing I noticed that when the faucet is turned on initially the TDS is high as the water which is sitting inside the unit is exited, the TDS drops after running the water for 10-15 seconds. This does result is some water wastage also meaning if you just want to fill a quick glass of water, it will not be the best quality of water that the system can produce. I did get into touch with the customer service team and they were very helpful and suggested I fill a pitcher rather than turning on the system for every glass of water required. Overall, using the pitcher method I'm getting around 10-20 PPM on the TDS meter compared to 280PPM after my softener does its job. Overall, Im satisfied with this product and will recommend it to anyone looking to install a undersink RO system. My only hope is that newer iterations can resolve the issue of the filter producing water at full efficiency right when it is turned on. My next milestone of using this product would be to replace the one of the filters as it has a 1 year life. Looking at the cost of the filters, it is a bit on the higher end but I do hope that it gives me the full year life that is stated.

"Rumbles" every 2 minutes
Started well and does seem to produce clean water. The problem is it now rumbles (quite loudly) every two minutes as if trying to force water through the system. Cannot find any contact details for the selling company.

Better than 1:1 ratio G2 400GPD
We love the G2 400GPD unit! The unit itself was super easy to install. It took many hours longer to install due to having solid copper piping under the sink, and having to route power from behind the dishwasher. I also installed a 3 Gal RO tank to supply the fridge ice maker properly. It would be nice if the unit would have a power on/off switch. My wife and I did a blind fold drip coffee taste comparison between our well water and the filtered RO water. We really couldn't tell the difference. I'll still have to install a mineral filter so I can keep the built-in copper line to the fridge. The photo shows the volume comparison of RO water to Waste water delivered in 34 seconds. I was impressed with the better than 1:1 ratio waste, and without auto filtering this ratio should remain stable. The pump has a nice soft noise which is not a bother to us. Only one week since install, and we are very happy with it. I'll be checking the TDS soon but don't expect any surprises there. Tap is 392 PPM, 10oz RO is 219 PPM. On a larger volume I'm sure the PPM will be less. **Update 2025-7-22. After 6 weeks light use (avg 30 cups / day) the MRO steady red light came on and beeping while using. I'm wondering if the 4.5 hr area power failure the night before could have caused a programming issue, or has the RO filter had a failure. I was not happy. I contacted Customer Service by email and Doreen gladly helped me through a reset process (which is in the manual) after asking a few questions about its history. The MRO light is again solid blue and back to normal. Her example of Customer Service gives me the confidence should any issue arise, they are there to help! Thank you WaterDrop, Thank you Doreen.
