Yokohama Parada Spec-X 295/35R24 110V XL

Bought them for 2012 Volvo XC60 R to replace the OEM Pirrelli Scorpions Zero that only lasted 17K miles of gentle driving. The Yokohamas feel plush, quiet and handle well on dry, wet, and snow. I could not believe how much quieter the new tires are! The are still high performance as the Pirrellis and are 40K miles rated but the ride comfort is OWESOME!!! I already put on them several thousand miles and they still feel as new as far as the ride quality. They were also the cheapest tires I could find my my 20" rims. Highly recommended!!!

I'm on my 3rd set of these Yokohama Parada's - I've put about 100,000 miles on this tread, all street, city, highway. Prior to these I had Pirelli Scorpions on my Ford F150 HD edition. Remarkable wet traction improvement over the Scorpions. Dry traction is sport like and sticky - I rarely break traction and doesn't squeal much. I know when I'm getting to the limit - and when I do go past, handling is predictable to recover. Not really an all-season tire, but can handle light snow and slush - just go easy. No squirm or sponginess on turns, maybe a little rough on bumps, but quiet on the highway.

I had these Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires installed on my 2011 GMC Yukon Denali XL based on the specifications and performance qualities I was seeking. I reviewed multiple manufacturers (some more expensive), multiple tire brand names/types within their lineup, and selected the Yokohama Parada based on handling characteristics & performance, wet/dry traction grip, and ride quality (low road noise). The least important details were cost, wear factor, and mileage warranty. Remember this when buying tires, there is only a small contact patch between your four tires and the road, having the optimal tire could mean the difference between being safe when conditions or situations turn bad! These tires from Yokohama are both weight balance (Yellow dot) and radial force variation (Red dot) tested and marked from the factory (not all manufacturers go the extra step), assuring optimal road-force balancing of the installed tires on the rims is both as accurate as possible and requires the least applied weights on the rim for a long-term balance tire throughout its life cycle. After installation and an alignment check/adjustment, these tires are living up to every requirement I have of them. I highly recommend them, and will definitely be using them again and again; I even plan to switch the tires on my wife’s Land Rover Discovery from the OEM tire brand (Continental) to Yokohama Parada Spec-X.
