This blade is for a camp knife, no frills. It will work fine, only thing, no problem at all, is the guard will need some attention. Sharp edges, again, no big deal. For the money, it's a really good deal.

This historical Patrick Henry blade design is well done. It has about a 500 grit finish that needs zero work and has a magnificent appearance. The Chrome Vanadium alloy of this blade is my favorite blade alloy and it arrived sharpened and honed to eye surgery sharpness, better than I could do myself and I have worked as a surgical instrument sharpener. The hilt fit as arrived but I radiused the sharp edges and polished the whole hilt to a high shine. The hilt is the same alloy as the blade and is NOT Nickel plated as described...that is fine with me. I got 3/16 Brass rod for the needed pins and also got Buffalo Horn Handle Scales to complete the historic Tea Party Belly sticker. The WR Case sheath for their Case Bowie is available from Case for $18, it is nicely basket weave tooled and fits this blade very well.

Can't wait to add some handles to this to see how it comes out. New at all this so will see how it goes. Blade is straight to. Curious to see what kinda edge it holds

Blade looks ok. Wish I knew it was made in China. But for the price I should have expected it.

I am very pleased with the design and quality of this blade. I am expecting a very rewarding outcome with this project.

Will be a gift after I make the scales for it.....

I ended up tapping in one of my handle pins and the handle snapped in half tapping in a brass mosaic pen broke like glass not happy

Resulted in a very nice knife. Liked it so much that I bought a second one.
