We use this a lot for quick easy soups and stews. Always good!

16month Update:I've bought 10 or 11 bags of these vegetables over the past 16 months. What I've noticed in the last 3 bags or so is an ever increasing ratio of parsley and herbs. It's not as much as some other brands, but what first attracted me and kept me coming back for more of these was the near absence of flaky herbs that can be overpowering. It's not as much as some other brands, but it's a disappointing trend. Enough so that I felt an update was in order and i deducted 1 star.Original:I don't write reviews often, but this vegetable pack is really one worth mentioning for those that just want plain good old veggies.If you're like me and have tried a wide variety of dehydrated vegetables then you know it's extremely difficult to find any that don't have a mass amount of overpowering herbs/parsley that make everything you put your veggie mix in taste exactly the same. Not to mention the green "sludge" of herb flakes caking the surface of your soups.This pack has a nice selection of vegetables and that's where it ends! Getting your veggie fix in while allowing your dishes to taste exactly like they should!

Great with Raman noodles. Little more healthy

Arrived yesterday; upon opening the foil sealed package the aroma was beyond belief. !! Nothing what I thought for freeze-dried vegs. A robust, healthy "chicken" aroma with spices. I'm experimenting right now so I'll make sure to update my review. Thank you*Update 3 days later... I absolutely recommend. I tried/tested and I love the entire blend. I make a lot of soup/stews... and I might add a bit of shredded carrots for a bit more texture and heartiness. I'm very happy with the company, Frontier, for their products excellent quality. Bought these a couple times now and keep them on hand to add to ramen mostly for a quick easy meal. Definitely worth the price.

Like: variety and overall dehydration state of the veggies. Dislike: small holes; when I did a press check, air clearly escaped and blew on my face so there was at least one pin-hole leak; fortunately its been low humidity the last week or two but still its not a good thing esp. if I can't determine for how long its has the hole. I vacuum sealed the contents into three separate food grade bags as I was in a hurry; I'll have to sacrifice one bag to try out the contents in soup. I did this for my JMT hike, sending the veggie mix in three pickup buckets along the trail so I'm testing this vendor ahead of the next trip. Fingers crossed. One week later, made chicken bullion cube with 3 teaspoons dried veggie platter (was 16 oz, two cubes, 3 heaping teaspoons, 2min rolling boil) and it was decent, veggie flavor came thru nice. Rehydration was typical, ok, nothing was not rehydrated including the insides of the peas. Biggest oops was that some bits were so pointed that they pierced the food saver vacuum bag and those bags leaked; solution was to resuse the first vacuum bag as a cushion liner inside another vacuum bag with one end cut to allow depressurization and vacuum and seal again, the sharp bits seemed less pointy this time.
