Drawing Eye Brow 0.25g #5 Grey | Long Lasting Eyebrow Pencil | Soft Textured Natural Daily Look Eyebrow Makeup

I am in my mid-40s with (prematurely) full-on silver hair which I love and do not dye, but it makes finding an eyebrow product challenging. My brows are still totally brown, a dark, ash brown, but see-through and sparse since I hit my 40s. My coloring is low contrast - I have fair skin and blue eyes. (I have been color analyzed a "soft summer") THIS is the brow product I'll be re-ordering, the No. 5 Grey, which is their light gray shade. I tried many, many brow products, both pencil and powder. The problem is that they are nearly all either too dark or too warm. Almost all brown, taupe, or blond brow products go orange on me. Not a match. The cooler dark brown, soft black, and charcoal gray products I tried are just too dark for my soft coloring. Looks like I drew my brows on with a Sharpie black marker. Etude House's light gray pencil is truly gray - almost too cool for me but preferable to the many too warm shades. Even though it's "light" it does darken my natural brows a bit. The color really isn't a perfect match to my brows themselves, but it does match my hair color pretty nicely. The tip of the texture is angled but "fat" - if you're looking for a precision pencil to draw on individual hairs, this is not for you! You are not going to be able to create those on fleek, Instagram brows with this pencil. I think of it more like a shadow for my brows - adding that shadow gives my sparse brows a more filled-in, healthy look. I prefer a more natural makeup look, as opposed to a makeup-y look, so this works for me. It's pretty easy to use - just scribble in your brows and then use the convenient spoolie on the other end to comb through your brows and soften the look. It's a twist-up pencil, so no sharpener needed. The texture is pretty hard and waxy, as expected. I like my brow pencil hard and waxy. It does fade somewhat by the end of a long day, but it doesn't run or smear on me (I live in a cool climate though.) I'm not sure how long it will last or if it will dry out at some point, but I've been using it for about a month so far with no issues.

This is a very natural eyebrow pencil. It is not that pigmented - so that is good if you want the natural eyebrows. It blends well, after you draw in your eyebrows and want to blend it with the spoolie. The spoolie is quite hard, and stiff, at first. The spoolie kinda just grows on you, or is just stiff at first from unuse, I don't know. Theres only about an inch or two of product in this pencil, which for the price is adequate, and will last you for a little while with continued use. The triangular tip, I personally think is a genuis idea. You can fill your brows in three different ways with that shape. I don't know if its just me, but this eyebrow pencil doesn't look that natural on me. I'm asian, and have black hair and the normal blackish-grey eyebrows. I decided to go for this shade, #5 Grey because I didn't want super in your face eyebrows. Applying this onto my brows just made me look angry - and quite scary, if I say so myself. However, this is an amazing product despite me not liking the shade! I will repurchase this, but just not in this shade. I think the grey brown would be more of a natural shade for me, which is what I'm thinking of buying right now.

After letting my highly lightened originally dirty blonde hair grow out to its natural grey/blonde (greige), as opposed to originally having brown to dark brown or blackish hair grown out to a steelish grey, I have been searching for an eyebrow pencil in the greige tone...forever. Many grey pencils have either too dark a tone, or have a blueish tone to them. I had considered microblading, but because my skin is very sensitive, the nickel in the dye from microblading was not an option for me. So, I finally found Etude House Eye Brow pencil and was reluctant at first because of my past experiences with a very wrong brow color. I looked at the options and decided to give the #5 a try. My oh my, am I happy! This is THE perfect choice for a once blonde, now gray headed person whose brows were there but unseen before this wonderful pencil! Easy to use, with outstanding results and very inexpensive... checks all the boxes for me! Sent for 2, so glad I did. Things like this change so often, at least I’m good for a while.

I finally found an eyebrow pencil that's the perfect color for me and at a decent price! I really wanted to love everything about it, but I can't say that I do. Yes, the color is perfect, and that's a big plus for me, after having tried multiple eyebrow pencils, powders, etc. I'm not wild about the "applicator" though. It's plastic, and twists up, but the end of it is angled, so you have to be sure to have the pencil facing the right way when applying, or just the plastic is touching your skin. If you twist it up far enough not to have that problem, the "lead" breaks off. But I like the color enough to work with that problem. My other gripe is that it tends to crumble, leaving particles in my brows. I use the attached spoolie brush to brush the crumbs away. I think this would be better as an actual pencil that could be sharpened, and if the crumbling problem was solved, but like I said, finding the perfect color was difficult enough that I'm willing to work around the problems, even though I'm not 100% happy with the product.

El lapiz lo encontre bastante grueso para mi gusto y para lo que estaba acostumbrada a utilizar. Pero al cabo del tiempo te acostumbras a este... no esta mal al final me ha gustado. Quizas vuelva a comprarlo. Tampoco esta mal de precio para lo que es.
