Good product to fight the salt and rust issues.
Great product for rustproofing if you have the equiptment to use it. It covers nicely and doesnt dry out. Leaves a good coating that doesn't easily wash off. Use a mask and goggles when applying as vapor and mist is fine and not good to breathe in for long term good health. I've used this recently on two vehicles, and another several years ago. Figure on two gallons on an average car. Allow 2 1\2 to 3 for full sized pickup or suv. I use the black, although they sell an amber version also. Easy to clean up with solvent or mineral spirits.

Doesn’t dry stays wet forever
An undercoating that does not dry, really sucks when trying to work around it and it gets all over your hands. Doesn’t say on bottle about not drying.Real crap for under coating.

Real Rustproofing
Treated a "never in seen salt" truck and have plowed three seasons. No sign of rinse off, looks like it was just done except for a light layer of dirt. No rust except for where I skipped like the Tranny oil pan which I just had to replace. If you buy a clean vehicle to drive in New England you'd be nuts not to do this, and not some other product either. It can be brushed but a lift and undercoating gun is the way to go. I warm it in a plastic pot in the microwave for easier spraying. Area and clothing protection mandatory. An uncovered area of the shop floor where I wash cars in winter was protected for a couple of years! Recommended by my local body shop. To do a proper job on a pickup plan on a few gallons (4? )
