Yes, they do! Animals have been seen toasting marshmallows by a camp fire deep in the woods near where I live in Big Bear Lake, in the San Bernardino California mountains. Bears and their friends love s'mores just like the rest of us do. They even have a nice basket of chocolate bars, and grahams near by.The Darice bulb light unit I received had a regular bulb in it so I purchased some flicker bulbs from Amazon. The flickering fire bulb placed behind the faux camp fire adds just the right realistic look to the scene.I make lots of crafts and have used these Darice bulb assemblies for many years, for many different projects. I recently made a Halloween scene with a witches brew pot and a fire under it. The added flicker bulb was very realistic looking. I also use these inside ceramic pumpkins.Darice makes a very good quality unit with a long cord with a toggle switch in it for turning on and off. The attached clip lets you secure the unit in a hole in a piece of wood, or even in styrofoam . Cardboard works well too. You can also use a bit of velcro to secure it to a flat surface. The price is very reasonable, so you can use them in all your craft projects. There is no end to the things you can dream up.

This was a hard-to-find item, but this superb vendor had the goods. It arrived quickly, and in excellent condition. Highly recommend.

These little lights are just right for the little porcelain houses I have in my window. The holes provided in the back and bottom of the house is small and the bulb fits through just fine but the metal piece that holds it in place is a bit big. No matter, a little crimping with the pliers solved that issue. The only thing they could do to improve them is to make the plug end "chainable" or stackable the way christmas lights can be chained or stacked together. I have 6 little houses on my window sill and if I could stack these (thereby using fewer outlets), I wouldn't need so many extension cords, A power strip would be my only alternative and that's a lot of real estate for 6 low-wattage night-light bulbs.

We had a statue that had a place in the bottom to insert a light and this did the trick perfectly. Seller shipped extremely fast and packaged the product so well. It also came with a light bulb, which i did not expect or maybe missed in the description and the light bulb was wrapped so nicely to protect it. Once in the statue it gave a beautiful glow and works great. Thanks so much to the seller!!
