Works great for the ford maverick

I was looking to replace a panel that a previous owner had cobbled together in my customer sprinter that was in a high visibility area and made things look like it was cobbled together. To my surprise, this panel's 4x6 dimensions matched my horrible-looking panels within a safe degree of error. After verifying all the crimps on the plugs were good (one was loose) and adding a not-included inline fuse (not a surprise), I did have to use a router to adjust for the backing plates of the accessories, and that's always nerve-racking as the laminate used for the cabinet is no longer available. In the end, it is an inexpensive pre-wired power-coated aluminum panel that I will add some switches to later.

Sleek, sturdy, durable, and easy to install. Great that the Cigarette Lighter Sockets have a locking feature so plugs won’t vibrate free. Quality components, however product assembly wasn’t very good, the three sockets were upside down and loose, and the rocker switch was not even clipped in to its collar – see 1st photo.That doesn’t really make a difference as they’re easy to tighten, but also many folks will want to change the configuration anyway. That’s a big plus with each component in the panel being detachable so you can move them around or swap out with different ones. I did and this was my final installation – see the 2nd photo.

These are really useful but the included wiring is junk and dangerous. Actually, the various makes and models are all the same, I've ordered several brands and they're identical. Some have wiring and some don't. Just order the cheapest at the moment and throw out the wiring.You need 14ga wire to wire this if you're going to use the cig lighter to power something like a car inverter, or else you're risking a fire hazard. A lot of the bad reviews probably involve substandard wiring. The included wiring is 18 or 20 gauge and super cheap and flimsy. Don't use it!You can find inline fuses on Amazon, add one to the power wire going in to be safe, then this should be solid.Also, recommend buying several of these so you can make exactly what you want, like 2 usb sockets.

Installed this in the bed of my Gladiator and I must say it's been really convenient! Fit and finish are top notch. Looks like it came from the factory that way. The plugs are interchangeable, simply remove the retaining nut and swap. It shipped with all the jumpers prewired, so you didn't have to worry about it. The voltmeter is extremely accurate. Although it has a backlit on/off switch I have it wired into my aux switch, so I don't have to remember if it is on or off. with the 12v as well as the USB outputs it gives me quite a bit of options for power in the bed of Gladiator.

I installed this in my RV to plug a 12v device into in the kitchen. I also like that it has a digital voltmeter built into it so I can monitor my battery's condition.However, we left for a trip shortly after the install was complete and the plug just stopped working out of the blue. I removed the fixture from the wall that it was installed in and checked all my connections and they were all secure. I also tested for my 12v supply and solid ground connections and everything was as it should be. However, I still couldn't get this to turn on.I ended up plugging the device into the 12v outlet in the front of the RV and went on about the trip. Then, out of the blue, the panel turned on again.As a mechanic and electrician, I have absolutely no clue what caused this to just randomly cut out.... I haven't taken the time to dig back into it again yet, but I will say that I am disappointed in the quality of this product. It seems to be very cheaply made....At this point.... I would NOT recommend you purchase this item.It looks nice.... but it isn't reliable. And I can assure you that my wiring and connections are solid and my batteries were in good condition... because I replaced both of them to make sure that wasn't causing any issues.

Fact that it was pre wired saved me some swearing/time. It does not come with a fuse tho and USB ports are not fast charging.It works well. Only annoyance was that mounting is flush with hole so you have to be precise with your cut. A outline should be included in the box.
