Use these motorcycling with the helmet. Squashes the wind noise. Like riding in a car with the windows closed. As such, they reduce noise, not eliminate it. You can converse with another with these without having to talk loudly.They last for maybe 30 sessions before they lose their compressibility. This impacts ability to place them in the ear and effective noise reduction. They need to be seated properly in the ear to get best noise reduction. Ears get sore after maybe 4-8 hours of use. Depends in part on temperature.Does the job comfortably.

does not block out the noise of my upstairs neighbors stomping around. I bought these in bulk with high hopes of other reviewers saying these are the comfiest pairs to sleep with and I honestly can't tell the difference, the hurt the same and are even worse at blocking out sound.

I travel with these, keep a few sets in my car incase I need them for live music, and they are 100% reusable. My ears tend to get uncomfortable after an hour or so with them in. Don't know if it's from the quality of the material or I'm just not used to wearing them all the time.

I ride a motorcycle for days and these are the only earplugs that don't hurt your ear canal after multiple days of use.

they are a bit large for me, but work well. I like them for shooting and yard work, no so much for going to the movies.
