One of the best boar bristle brushes I've ever owned! I'm a black woman growing my locks again. I bought it to help destribute the oils as they flow from my roots. This brush is so soft and gentle on my hair (as it should be) that I am not concerned about damaging my hair. If you have thick course hair and want a boar bristle brush, this IS NOT the one for you. They do make heavier weighted boar bristle brushes. I know because I found one for my thick hair. It was good for my thick hair then. Now I have transitioned.

It was the best brush I ever had used for my fine hair. I can actually brush my hair without damaging my hair. I bought some extras today. I hope this company never stops making them.

Softer than I thought it would be so not quite as useful for my dogs' fur. Seems like quality product, just not for a dog with a long coat - bristles not stiff enough.

A great brush! I have never tried the iconic brush this is based on, but why buy a $200 hair brush when this option gets the job done?

This brush looks nice but doesn't brush through even fine hair. The bristles are extremely soft. Also, it came with a large product number sticker on it and didn't peel off all the way so the wooden part is sticky.

The bristles are way too soft to brush through thick hair. If you have really thin hair or extremely short hair this brush will probably work a lot better for you. I have medium-thick hair that is shoulder length, and this brush did nothing for me. As in, I couldn't even comb with it. I actually got a more effective bristle brush at Walgreens that works super well with my hair.

This is a very good brush.I recommend it to any waver who's looking into a good softy brush for brush session before and when wolfing.
