Pleasantly surprised with these knives,I bought these to replace an older set from the Tesco pro range which I replaced because of moving. Which had solid handlesSo when these arrived being hollow handled I was dubious, but having used the steak knives, utility knife, santouku knife, chef knife and bread knife I can honestly say that they are very good knives!Every one has been sharp enough to easily slice through things without the telltale clack of hitting a cutting board (a sure sign of a blunt edge)They are comfortable to hold and easy to handle, the knive sharpener even has its holding position in the block which is very handy and the set looks great with the stylish black Wooden block.They can be used in a dishwasher but I haven't felt the need to yet as they are gleaming after a quick wipe (literally quicker than putting them in the dishwasher rack) and as it's bad for knives In general, I doubt I'll bother.The only negative that I would say is that some of the knives could be a little longer.(personally i would prefer some more weight in the handle but that is pure preference and even with that preference I would happily buy again)Great value for money, if you're after a sharp budget set with a black block then pick them up. They also have a 2 year warranty

These are absolutely brilliant knives. So sharp when I first used it with a steak - I did not know that I had cut it.But be careful they are so sharp - I usually use-wash and put it away immediately. Friend has Nin** knives and she has said these are sharper.

This is a really good set of knifes in my opinion and offer great value for money. Compared to my old knifes the difference is night and day. They are super easy to clean and look great in the block. Would highly recommend them at this price point.

Good quality knife set but not the best

These knives are well made, sharp and have made cooking in our house a real joy. I would not be without them. It's about six months since we bought them now and the blade on the big knife had dulled a bit but was easily brought back to sharp with the sharpener in the set. Would not be without this wonderful set of tools now.

These knives are very sharp, please be careful, the other side of knife is sharp also, I cut myself with it!

Money well spent on this set of knives
