J & M JMCB-2003B-SL CB/Stereo/Intercom for Driver Headset Operation Audio System - One Size

Not a lot of choices if your bike doesn't come with a CB, so they definitely fill a niche market. It supports passenger intercom and features a mini stereo input that allows you to listen to your tunes while riding. It also includes a weather radio if you ever have the need. We went with the J&M Headset and rear antenna mount as well. I like the size and it seems like they put a lot of thought into the configuration but not real excited about the actual electronics. Very loud pop through the headset when you turn it on and a distinct white noise that can be heard in the background over the bike. This occurs regardless of any volumes and with the engine off. The only time it goes away is when you key the mic. Customer support in nice enough but they told me this is normal. I listened to a friends and theirs did the same thing so nothing you can really do about it. Maybe not an issue if your hearing is less than average but my wife uses ear plugs so she doesn't have to listen to it. Outside of that, it performs well as far as receiving and transmitting. But in the end, the overall price we have into this rivals blue tooth.

i have had this unit on my bike for at least 5 years with no problems ,great because i can talk to my wife while riding on separate bikes and she can listen to her ipod or phone while riding a little pricey but well worth it.

This CB is exactly as described and arrived very quickly.
