I bought this shirt for a pirate night on a Disney cruise and it was the perfect addition to my costume. I sized up to a XXL because I have a larger chest (I am a 36D) so I did not want any bulging at the buttons. I would say the shirt is true to size because I am generally a XL and the shirt was a little loose but I was fine with that. I am also tall and it was plenty long on my long torso.

I wore this blouse for a very formal wedding. The collar, ruffles and cuffs looked beautiful under my sequined jacket.

It's flattering, a little sheer for my liking to wear without something over top. This is great for a Victorian, pirate, or steampunk costume. I ended up getting a necktie to help hold up my brooch as the neck ruffles were alot looser and softer than I had expected. It is very smooth and soft. It was loose for me in the bust, neck, and shoulders but a little more snug at my hips. However, I have bigger hips. I'm 5ft 4in and wear small or medium tops and usually size 8 pants.

The blouse is perfect with tux tails and leggings for a Halloween party. After reading other reviews I sized up from X to XL and it fit perfectly. Actually, it's so soft and feminine looking that I plan to wear it under a blazer for everyday use. The only problem is that it arrived in a shipping bag and is terribly wrinkled. The tag said not to iron the blouse, so I'll need to take it to the dry cleaners to have it steamed. That's inconvenient and an extra expense, but is so worth it because the blouse is frilly and gorgeous! Don't hesitate to size up and buy this beauty!

I had no instructions on whether to use an iron on it to get rid of wrinkles. Just hand wash & drip dry. I ordered a 3x, it was not a 3x...only if your a 3x with No hips. The material is sheer, but doesn't look like it'll hold up. Disappointing is an understatement! I won't order anything else from your company...ever...I wasted my money.

I love this blouse so much that I ordered a black one too. It’s perfect and you don’t see many that are similar.
