My father loves this stuff.
I got this for my father because he's allergic to chocolate. He loves it in his smoothie.

Awesome chocolate alternative
It smells similar to chocolate, and tastes similar to chocolate. I put it in the blender with frozen bananas to make a dairy-free ice cream. My daughter and I absolutely love it. I also mix it with agave to make a carob sauce, but the texture of it is a little grainy. When in a hot dish like oatmeal, it seems to melt in. I absolutely love this as an alternative, I just wish the price was a little lower

Perfect for tiramisu topping
I used this to top my chocolate free tiramisu and it worked great! Doesn’t dissolve quite as readily as chocolate but it’s a decent alternative.

First time using carob powder
I bought this Carob Powder as I was looking for a substitute for sugar and/or flavored syrup in my morning coffee. This is the first time I have tried Carob Powder. It has an interesting taste; hard to describe. It does have a bit of a chocolate taste. I definitely like it. Between adding both carob powder and cinnamon to my coffee, I've eliminated all sugar in my coffee. Once in a while I put a little bit of Stevia in. Thanks to the Carob and Cinnamon, my coffee has become healthier. One thing I've noticed about the Carob powder is it is a bit dense. As I near the end of the coffee, I find I need to swish the remaining coffee around as some of the Carob will fall to the bottom of the cup. Not a big deal.I look forward to baking with this.

Good for dogs
We fill hollow cow bones for our dog and freeze them. He gets a frozen bone each morning filled with a mixture of oatmeal, yogurt, a variety of dried fruit , and different flavorings. Carob is one of his favorites. Grateful that it is ok for dogs to eat.

CA PROP 65 CANCER WARNING, I would not buy again
There is NO excuse for any food item to have a prop 65 cancer warning label on it, I wish I would have noticed it before I started using it, I would have thrown it out. Yes, this product is cheap, but clearly there is a reason for that. The taste was off and I did not care for it, I've also NEVER seen such a dark carob powder EVER. It makes me wonder how it is processed, but that is probably were the prop 65 warning comes in. I'm willing to pay more to support ethical producers whose products taste good.
