Firstly, this light has exceeded my expectations. It's very heavy duty & with the two sets of paddles that take less than 30 seconds to change makes it easy to use. I put this on a Springfield XD 9 & it fits perfectly. ( For those reviews stating their package was missing the universal #1, it's not. It's already mounted in the light ) I have an Olight that is an awesome light & extremely bright & have no complaints other than this streamlight fits so much better. ( Moved the Olight to an AR-15 & its great ) I will however only purchase Streamlight weapon lights going forward. Streamlight it just a superior product all the way around. Switchable paddles, fits perfectly, has a safety feature where you turn the head of the light about a 1/4 to a detent so it doesn't accidentally get turned on & great for peace of mind knowing my battery is being drained when not in use. Lastly one of the best features is that you can turn the strobe feature on or off with a certain sequence of pressing & holding either side to reprogram. Very impressed, only purchasing streamlight from now on, totally worth the money, you definitely don't feel like you've paid to much. I've had no issues with performance & I've noticed although this light weighs about what you'd expect ( not to heavy but no light either ) it balances the front a little bit better with that added weight it improved the muzzle flip which wasn't bad to begin with, but it helped a little. Highly recommend this light to anyone on the fence about spending a little extra for a quality light. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome gun light. I have one in my edc G19 and xdm compact. Great fit in those barrel lengths. Holds up well to 9mm and .45. Perfect addition to your carry or nightstand guns.

This is great. It lights up rooms perfectly. Super intense (can't see anything when pointed at you). The switch is super easy to work. Lightweight and well built.

This gun light is better than most, I was buying cheaper lights, and they are ok, this light is very high quality, if you're betting on it working when you need it, and you are, try this light, the light is a bright, flood beam, that has no dark spots, if you're problem is in range, you will see it, and identifying it, the batteries can be changed as needed, or buy rechargeable batteries, this light comes with a mounting system for your favorite carries, batteries are quickly changed from the front, light stays on the rail, new battery can be changed in under a minute,

This light itself has almost all the features I've been looking for in a light for an EDC weapon: commonly available battery, good (enough) battery life, really good brightness, intermittent on and on-til-pressed-again switches, great ergonomics. However, this light is designed to attach only to weapons with rails under the barrel frame. My Glock 19 Gen 2 doesn't come with rails, so I had to get a Recovery add-on rail that frankly looks great on the weapon -- almost as if it came preinstalled directly from Glock. And the TLR-7 fits nicely on the gun with the add-on rail. HOWEVER, I have yet to find an outside-the-waistband, high-on-the-hip holster that fits the combination of gun, add-on rail attachment, and TLR-7. So, unfortunately (and I'm very sad as I really do like the rest of the features of the light), I have to return this light for something even less ideal or live without an attached light for my Glock so I can carry my weapon safely. Oh, well... I guess I have to go back to training from 30 years ago when the only weapons light were handheld lights with filament bulbs from Surefire...
