This shoe shine kit works really well and is very easy to use. It gives a nice, clean shine without needing a lot of effort, which I really like. Quality of this product is amazing. Does not leave any kind of residue on the shoe and nail polish is very cleanly. Makes the shoe appearance brand new.

I originally got this to freshen up a very worn black leather jacket we were giving our son to use at college. I went over the worn arms twice and the less worn body areas once, and it gave the jacket a much fresher look, as well as making it at least water resistant. I then used it on several pairs of shoes, going over both the leather and the composite sole edges. It did a great job of evening out the color, giving them a shine, and generally making them look nearly new.

Cream is much better to use than polish if you have shoes or boots made of fine leather. 4 for this one means nothing really exceptional but does the job and is well priced. Yes, I can see that the applicator won't outlast the jar... I wash it after use then blot with paper towel, this way it should last longer. Performance-wise, it is great. Really intense black, improved the looks of my Blackstone boots dramatically. Consistency is medium, easy to get on the sponge but not really thin. Applied quite a lot, looked kind of like brush strokes on boots, but dried overnight and looked great. Polished with a piece of old flannel, got even better. No mirror shine like in the army, but looks.. noble, classy. One extra plus, once it dried overnight, it did not really stain when touched, good for pants. I might try another cream available here next time, but easily recommend this one.

Help restore black and shine on older dress shoes. Let it dry and then polish it with a cloth later. Or you may get some smear on the bottom of your pantsm

Excellent product. Goes on easy with applicator and leaves a nice shine without buffing. The price however is quite high and next time I'll probably do more price comparison before purchasing ie via China,a third of the price!
