Easter Egg hunting did not go well for my Granddaughter's shoes. I searched Amazon for some scuff polish and decided to try this Self Shine Cream Kit instead of a liquid. It worked wonderfully on her almost new shoes that I was ready to throw away. A little glue for the rubber sole that was pulling away and 2 coats of the Self Shine Cream on the synthetic leather and they look great again. I think it would take a magnifying glass to where the shoes got scuffed. No buffing either. My only problem is that I haven't found out how to open the applicator that is built into the lid. I used a paper towel instead; worked just fine.

Served purpose of covering up defects in shoe. Easy to apply with good consistency of cream. However, not particularly shiny and came off somewhat after one nights usage, so only a temporary fix, but did the trick for the event.

This great stuff! It doesn't get much easier than this, use the sponge applicator that is built into the cap and apply a thin coat and allow it to dry. (this takes a few minutes) once it is dry you can take a cloth and just give it a quick buff! You can skip that step and they will be shiny but the quick buff really puts it over the top! The shine lasts for weeks to months depending on how you use your shoes or boots. It has a pleasant smell also. It is more of a cream type paste that goes on really smothly. It works well on new boots as well as old boots. It really breathes new life into old beat up boots. I have a pair of boots that I wore for over 5 years on patrols and after I used this cream, people asked about my new boots! People can't believe how good this stuff works! It even works great on duty belts and all the other leather goods you may have. I even use it as edge dressings on my boots and shoes. It doesn't dry out or crack or peel etc. If it does start to loose its shine a quick buff will bring them right back!

This is so great and makes my old shoes look like new. Honestly, I would highly recommend this to anyone. If I were able to, I would give it more than five stars.

Excellent product. Goes on easy with applicator and leaves a nice shine without buffing. The price however is quite high and next time I'll probably do more price comparison before purchasing ie via China,a third of the price!
