Amazing product, easy to use, efficient
I absolutely love these milk collectors! I love how I can wear them at night when I am sleeping and not have any leaks. Super easy to use and are comfortable. I bought the 2.0 oz size and it is discrete when wearing it. Quality is awesome...I wore these for several months while I was breastfeeding - only downside is that the plugs on the top wear out and break off overtime and you have to replace the whole thing because it only works with suction. Other than that, every nursing mom should have these!

Great Suction… holds in place.
I’m so glad I discovered this. This has a great suction that holds in place while baby nurses on the other breast. I can catch up to 2ozs of milk that would otherwise just soak up a breast pad. Very versatile & leak proof.

Great for collecting excess with no intent of expressing
After reading reviews, I bought this, not expecting it to actually express milk, and just hoping it would catch any leaking. I use Kindred Bravely pads, which are kind of pricey for how quickly I go through them, but you pay for good quality. I bought these hoping to not have to constantly be digging through the clean laundry to look for more pads after soaking through another set. For that purpose, I’m very happy with these! They’re extremely obvious inside a bra. I was hoping to be able to wear them when I have to go into the office sometimes, but that is NOT happening. For around the house or overnight, these are great. Regular Haakaas are too easy to knock off (painfully and messily) if I’m cooking or nursing. These stay put inside my bra and are more comfortable where they meet my skin. They also give me a little cushion so I’m not constantly against fabric when I’m a little sore; there’s a nice little air pocket so there isn’t any friction. The suction is practically non-existent, and they rely on a bra helping hold them in place. I do feel like I will need to stay on top of emptying them regularly to prevent leakage, but since I’m currently hooking baby up to one side and a regular Haakaa up to the other, nursing, falling asleep, and waking up to spilt milk because baby kicked the Haakaa off...sigh. So I’m willing to handle checking how full these are through the day or night as the better alternative. The side of the box DOES say this is for expressing, along with directions on how to do it, but I wouldn’t buy these if that’s your intent. For the record, I’m a 34DD and somewhat overproduce, i.e. I’m not necessarily concerned with collecting every drop, although I do save what I can. I would recommend these for overproducers who are going through pads, or underproducers who can’t afford to let any go to waste.

Easy way to collect milk
This is a super easy and comfortable way to collect milk in the breast your baby is not nursing from. The suction is effective and gentle but do be sure to snap your nursing bra/tank as on occasion the suction does loosen and I've had it tumble off a couple of times. I was using the Haakaa pump to collect milk (not as a pump per se) because I didn't know about the ladybug. The ladybug is way more comfortable and discreet if you are simply trying to collect the milk that would otherwise waste into a breast pad. It small size means my 5-month old is also not kicking it off which has become a problem when I was using the Haakaa pump. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the tab you close at the top is difficult to close- you have to have the tab lined up pretty precisely with the hole and the silicon material does not rub against itself easily when you push it in. It's very doable, just not as easy as it should be and requires improvement. Overall I definitely recommend this product. It has enabled me to save lots of milk for my little boy, a huge help when low milk supply is something you are dealing with.

Good but not great
These are great in theory, they can collect without any suction so they are good for avoiding engorgement. I would recommend these to someone in the early stages of their breastfeeding journey so that they can collect without building an oversupply. I found the while that they pour out of to be a bit frustrating because it always worried me I wasn’t going to be able to get it clean enough, it’s such. Small opening as well and just doesn’t pour as easy as I would like. Overall they have their use but I don’t think they’re good for as long as some of their competitors because there’s no option at all for suction.

Milk supply without oversupply
Had to order a second one. First one the tab broke on top and honestly I think my toddler tried to open it and ripped it because I dont remember doing it. Otherwise the first held up through breastfeeding my first and 9 months into my second. I wear this while breastfeeding to catch the milk and it helped me save alot of milk without pumping. Im on the smaller side so I ordered the small one and it fits under a nursing bra no problem. I do not wear this in public. It is comfortable and easy to clean. I use my bottle brush and a drop of dish soap after use and hand wash in 1 minute and let air dry. I thought the price was more than expected but with how much use I get it is definitely worth the money ten-fold. Easy to use just squeeze while putting on and it creates a suction to hold. Dont try walking around with it on unless you secure it with your bra otherwise once there is milk it will fall off, of course. Best purchase hands down for our breastfeeding journey. I will recommend to anyone. I have purchased other haakka items that I also find useful. I know mom want to ensure they have a backup milk supply so they pump early and that can cause and oversupply. If you use this from day one and every time you feed you will catch a lot of milk just in the first 2-3 months while your supply levels off and it wont cause an over supply like a pump. I heard about this product from an IBCLC online and her podcast is Breezy Babies.

YOU NEED THESE
Okay, I don’t even know where to begin with how much I love these ladybug collectors! When I had our first baby, I produced so much milk that I would constantly be waking up in the middle of the night drenched in milk and it honestly was so annoying. Not only was I wasting precious gold, but I was having to change multiple times a night and my sheets were all wet and it was just a mess. I would just take a bunch of breast pants and shove them in my shirt and hope for the best. Then I came across these when I had our second daughter and I was a little hesitant but saw multiple review la saying that you could wear them while sleeping so I said why not and I ordered them! Not only were they super easy to use BUT THEY ACTUALLY COLLECTED THE MILK WHILE I WAS SLEEPING SO I DIDN’T LEAK EVERYWHERE! Now granted this won’t work if you are a stomach sleeper, but I slept on my back and on my sides and didn’t have any issue with them coming off or the suction seal breaking and leaking milk everywhere. I did also combine them with a nursing bra so I did have a little more support holding the ladybugs in place, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. It does take a little bit of getting used to for them being there but again it wasn’t uncomfortable or didn’t hurt just different. They’re super easy to clean and super easy to take with you on the go. The quality is amazing and honestly, I just don’t think there’s anything I could say other than you definitely need these as a postpartum mom!

Bulky milk collector
I've been using this for a month now and as time goes on, I'm starting not to like it as much anymore. It's the first milk collector that I've tried, so I don't have anything else to compare it to just yet.Pros:-collects up to 2oz milk let down-has a spout to empty-can stand on flat surface-doesn't get knocked off bc you can put it inside your bra-doesn't spill while wearing it inside your bra and bending down or laying sideways-easy to clean-it's literally a milk collector for leaky breasts and not a strong continous suction like the haakaa, so don't get it confused :p. You squeeze it to create a suction, then put it on your breast. The suction power is just enough to make sure it stays on your breast and not draw out the milk.Cons:-expensive-bulky even if you are a 36A. It IS discreet so when you look on the outside with a shirt on you can't tell that you're wearing it. However, the comfort level of wearing it is a bit annoying. If you're bigger than a 36A, I think it'll start looking and feeling even more uncomfortable while wearing inside your bra because of its protruding shape.-the suction can pop off, hence the bulkiness. I've had to redo the suction many times so it can stay on, but eventually I give up and just let it sit there inside my bra. It's bulky, so it stretches your bra instead of being semi-flattened out after creating the suction and putting it onto your breast.-the opening for your nipple can sometimes dig into your breast. It's silicone and soft when you feel around the whole with your finger, but when you put it on your breast, it can feel a little bit sharp digging into your breast tissue.I bought it for the pros, but maybe I'll try something else because the bulkiness and suction popping off is annoying.

Fantastico
