Excellent! Exactly as I saw in use in Mumbai a few years ago. Seriously cool: Hot lunch delivery people on bikes, no plastic waste Etc.Didn’t know what they were called, so didn’t find immediately. I fill it and keep in a warm oven until I leave home. A cloth wrap helps keep it warm longer if desired.

Easy open great for packing lunch for work...durable and easy to clean

I’m a Flight attendant and needed a metallic container to heat up my food in the plane. Another Flight Attendant suggested me this product and without hesitation it was ordered and arriving at home right on time for my next work trip…The pros: portion sizes are just ok (not big but not too small) - and that’s all about the pros.The cons: the item arrived with few scratches/dents. I wouldn’t have a chance to use them for work if I return it for another one so I decided to bring it with me like that and make sure that dents and scratches would be the only minor dealbreaker.This is where the 2 stars come from- I placed one of the riffing containers in the coffee plate to warm up my lunch. After passing about 5-7mins I came back to check the food and to my surprised, the paint in the bottom of the container began already to melt. This is a HUGE no for me! I immediately removed from the warmer to avoid the paint from sticking into the warmer surface. Basically is cute but cannot be used to heat up food. Maybe the one without paint can do the job? Unfortunately I won’t be able to return it and exchange it for the one that has no paint, because I left one of the containers in the plane and it’s more likely that I won’t be able to ever find it. I def do not recommend the ones coated with paint.(please see pictures)
