Expensive, but worked
Our sweet 13 year old torti developed IBS (likely cause). Probiotics worked for a while. And then they didn’t. She was vomiting most foods and had consistent bouts of diarrhea, started loosing weight and becoming lethargic. Tests showed no other issues. Vet provided us with a can to see if she would eat it. She did! We bought the wet and the dry food. Thankfully, she loves them both. The vomiting completely stopped. Diarrhea stoped as well, unless she sneaks some of her sisters’ food. (Cats gonna cat 🤣) She has gained back some weight and has her sweet, chatty, loving and feisty personality is back. This food is very expensive, but it does work and allows her to actually absorb nutrients. The hard food is half the price, although the 5 ounce cans last a while. Hopefully, if your kitty needs this type of food, it works for your fur baby too!

Highly palatable
Opera will not eat ANY canned food, believe me I've tried them all, she won't touch them... Except ZD. After the elderly kitty who had a prescription for it died, the vet let her have her own. Even though she's perfectly healthy 🙄 it's very palatable.

The best option for our allergy cat.
We received a free Sphynx cat and she has cost us so much money because of her allergies. She can eat almost nothing without breaking out all over her body in a rash. Our veterinarian recommended this food for her to use in combination with Hill's prescription dry food. I have no idea how it tastes; but she seems more than willing to eat it. The texture is very pasty and hard to get off the spoon, but I suspect that is the nature of hydrolyzed food. It is definitely expensive, but we don't really have other options.

Excellent cat food for cats with sensitive tummys
This cat food is great, it keeps my cat alive and has been his exclusive food for 10 years. I was worried about the timeline, but if I feed him anything that contains non-hydrolized protein, he barfs it immediately and would run out of energy, and probably die within a short time. Highly recommended if you have a cat with an aversion to raw protein!

Mal Appetit
My cat, who is not particularly finnicky, would not even go so far as to stick his nose into the cat bowl to sniff this expensive food, let alone eat it. In its appearance, thickness, and texture, it strongly resembles that which my cat egests, rather than that which he ingests. Stick with the dry variety. Skip the wet food.

Not so great, weird texture
My cats don't care for this food. Up I n opening can, it is very rubbery in texture. I have tried to mush it up and add water to give it a better texture and have added broth a time or two.. Still a no go with cats.

Dented
The food got here in time but most of the cans are dented

It works
My cat is four years old and has been eating this product with a mixture for three years. He’s doing well and this really works great. It’s pricey, but it resolves his issue perfectly.
