Okay, so if you're a pet owner, you *know* the struggle. You clean, you sniff, you *think* you've got it all, but then that phantom smell just... lingers. I've been meaning to grab a UV flashlight for ages to really hunt down those invisible pet messes, and this Consciot 12 LED one popped up on Vine at the perfect time.First things first, it's super straightforward. You pop in three AAA batteries (standard stuff, not included) and you're good to go. It feels decent in your hand, not super heavy-duty but definitely not cheap plastic either. It's a comfortable size to hold and maneuver.Now for the important part: the detection! I waited until after dark, turned off all the lights, and went on a mission. And oh boy, did this thing deliver. Within minutes, I found several "invisible" spots on the carpet that I had absolutely no idea were there. They glowed a bright yellowish-green, just like they're supposed to. It was actually a bit horrifying to see everything, but also incredibly satisfying to finally *see* where the problem areas truly were. The 395nm wavelength and 12 LEDs make it quite powerful and cover a good area without being too dim. You don't have to get super close to the floor for it to work its magic.Beyond pet stains, I know these are good for checking for scorpions (thankfully don't have that issue here!), authenticating currency, or even checking hotel rooms for... well, you know. I haven't tried those yet, but for its primary purpose of finding pet stains, it's a winner.Bottom line: If you've got pets and suspect there are some hidden "gifts" on your floors or furniture, this Consciot UV flashlight is a really useful tool. It's easy to use, decently built, and most importantly, it *works*. Now I can actually clean *all* the spots instead of just guessing. Definitely recommend it for any pet parent who wants to be thorough!

I got these as a gift for a teenage girl to go with a set of crystals, rocks and minerals that are UV reactive, and she had so much fun finding all the different stones that react under the light, glowing brightly. Vivid shades of pinks, reds, greens and yellows. They are quality, lightweight, produce little to no heat, are clearly easy to use and a fun science project fpr kids.

Glad I can switch out batteries as needed rather than charging with a cord

It comes with batters and is brighter than other cheap UV flashlights I've bought, but the design is a bit temperamental. Sometimes I have to push on the plastic light guard to make the battery connect and turn on, even though the top has a rubber click switch.

These worked great for finding tomato horn worms. I brought my kids out and they had fun helping me find the worms we missed during the day. I hope they last a while. I’m grow tomatoes organically (no spray what so ever) to sell at our local health food store. Highly recommend for this purpose. Will purchase again in the future if I need more.

When I seen this, I thought it was gonna be you too small. I didn't think it would do the job. I thought I was gonna have to buy like a big black light back in the day when I had one. It was like a bulb and big and it had like a switch, and you had to turn it on, and it went like A fluorescent light bulb that was crazy. This is click a button comes with batteries. You just take out the batteries and then a little piece of paper falls out and you put them back in, they're in like a wheel so you can see the top has a spring and the bottom has a spring and you can see where to put them and they're easy to replace. Works great charges up pops like crazy. I took kind of a pop picture that was like right when I was about to turn it off. I thought I turned it off. So, it's kind of not fair, because the this lit it up so much better. I should have took another one but my son was bitching at me to get out of my room and all my other ones. It's too light out right now. To take a picture in my living room with my pops. I have some amazing pops that I brought into his room whenever he wasn't home earlier today and I charged up, I had one that I didn't even think glowed , and Was advertised as glow in the dark, I tried every kind of light, nothing worked. I put this on for 10 seconds. It stayed lit for like 10 minutes. I seen some ones that.Do glowed under regular lights And they worked, I thought, amazing, put up to this. Wow, like seriously. It's that good. Sometimes they don't stay lit for as long but they still light up for a good amount of time and that's like some of them. I've charged them in the dark, and then I took the mode, and they were still glowing in the light. You could still see the glow in the daylight. It was wild best small purchase. I felt they could have used a little less packaging. I've gotten like pop figures, and I mean, like probably 3 or 4 in a box the size they sent me this in, and it's literally like not even 3 inches. And it came with packing paper, I mean, it wasn't anything delicate, I mean, yeah, I guess one of the bulbs could have broke or something, but I highly doubt it. This thing seems pretty strong stable. Has the strap? It's not very big that's kind of my only complaint, but if that's your only complaint, you got a sad life. And so it's not that bad, so.Definitely recommend the seller.Definitely recommend the product

My pet was unwell and had a few mishaps on the carpet, I was under the impression I had cleaned the area thoroughly, so I used this UV flashlight which revealed areas that were not cleaned thoroughly. This is an excellent product for travellers. I will be using this product on my next trip and for carpet cleaning after my pet. Such a useful tool for any pet owner or parents of young children.
