750 ml Clear Glass Claret/Bordeaux Bottles, 12 per case

All bottles arrived completely intact. No chips, breaks, or cracks. There is a seam on the back, but that was mentioned and really isn't a big deal. There is however a "wave like" distortion in the glass towards the mid section of the bottle's body. That was not mentioned as far as I can tell. The good news is though, when filled most it's difficult to notice. You can still feel the distortion in your hands though.The packaging was strange to me. It was a small box inside a large box setup that had air "packet" bubble wrap in the larger box. No real protection for the bottles in the smaller box. I need to double check and make sure nothing is broken, didnt get a chance to look at every single bottle before I had to leave.I'm using these for Mead. I'm a first time brewer that felt like these bottles would be the go to bottles to have. As for the Seller, I have used them before. Most of the stuff I bought to get started I got from Midwest Homebrewing Supplies website, at the time I was not aware of their amazon market. I had a few hiccups in dealing with their homesite before hand, but it wasn't by any fault of theirs. inventory errors happen all the time. With that being said, if you're looking for brew supplies Midwest is a good place to look first.

I received all 3 cases of bottles in tact with zero broken. These seem like they will be decent bottles it seems like they may be a little on the thin side compared to a standard store bought wine bottle in terms of the thickness of the glass but I don’t see any issues with them as they still seem pretty durable. There is a distortion in the middle of each bottle that has been mentioned in several reviews, I knew this when I ordered them and expected to kind of hate it but honestly you can’t see it at all with labels in place. I did use #8 straight corks, which went in easily with my handcorker. These are flat bottom bottles which I didn’t realize when I ordered them and prefer the dimpled bottom but these will work fine. Overall these are great bottles for home wine making I just wish the price was a little cheaper almost $2.00 a bottle seems a little steep.

Every year, I make flavored liqueurs to give as Christmas gifts. I have bought these bottles for the past 3 years from this seller, and I love them. I have never once had an issue with breakage during shipping. They always arrive securely packaged.They are a pretty, clear bottle, perfect for showing off the color of my liqueurs. Also, they are nice and thick, so the few times I've accidently dropped one while washing or filling, it never broke or shattered. I always sterilize them in the dishwasher before I use them. The bottles I keep for myself, I have reused over and over, storing infused oils or more liqueurs, and again, I have never had a problem with them breaking.I would definitely recommend these bottles. I have used them for the past 3 years. I already ordered them for this year, and I will keep using them for years to come!

This order (24 clear Claret, 750 ml Bottles) came so fast that I was surprised when it arrived with another order. The seller didn't offer tracking information so I was expecting (based upon the expected arrival date listed by Amazon) this to take a while. I think it was a total of 2 days from the time I order until it arrived. All bottles were intact. I was surprised to find that they look more like hand-blown glass than a mass-produced item because they each have a slight bulge/ring of imperfection around the middle. I don't think it's something that will detract from the overall presentation of the mead that will be stored within them, though.

I have ordered these several times and they are always of good quality, in perfect condition, exactly like the previous set, and delivered on time. I use them for a craft and they look great. The price has risen a bit, but then the price of everything has gone up. They are still very affordable, so I'll continue to use them. Good purchase.

These bottles are very good for storing my home-brew wine. The bottles seem to be made as 2 pieces, so there is a "wave" of sorts about the middle of the bottle where the pieces were heated and attached.. so it seems. There are no other visible flaws and they work just as well as other wine bottles.But for low cost storage of home brew wine, I can freely share my home made wine with neighbors and friends and I won't feel badly if I don't get the bottle back soon enough to bottle a new batch. These clear bottles are well suited for wines that should be enjoyed Young and will need a #8 cork which will keep the contents safe for roughly 18 months. I will be buying more of these.

I used these bottles for centerpieces for my daughters quinceanera. I was overall very satisfied with this purchase. The bottles do have a line going down the bottle which is visible if you sit there and stare at it, but otherwise not very noticeable. No one at the party mentioned it to me. I read on other reviews people talking about the line and it didnt bother me. I was very satisfied with the quality and the price.

These were advertised as clear, however I received 12 green bottles.I ordered these bottles because I wanted clear bottles.The bottles themselves are fine, but now I still need to find some actual clear bottles.Edit: I sent my complaint about the bottles being green rather than clear and they immediately sent me a new box. I got them today and were whole and clear!I've update my rating to reflect my gratitude for their attention to my complaint.
