The Velcro has withstood several months of moderate use thus far. The vest gets pretty hot under the armor, so if you live in a warm climate and need to get somewhere without sweating, then this isn't for you. It's solidly built, but only covers the upper chest and back. The side straps are just elastic bands that offer no protection.I was pleasantly surprised by the night time visibility. The pictures would lead you to believe that the vest is invisible when riding at night. As a rider, you will not notice any reflectors. However, the shoulder straps light up like iron man when lights are shined on them.It's solid, convenient, light weight, well constructed, and looks sexy. It's just hot and doesn't cover a lot. I'd reccomend wearing it under a jacket when the weather permits.

Worth the price for protection. I'm 5' 7" and around 200 pounds, mostly chest and stomach and this fits extremely well, even had to tighten it down a little. Wore it on a 95+ degree day and works like a charm even with a backpack on over it. Removed one star as there is literally no ventilation on the back so be ready to sweat a lot. Otherwise, definitely recommend. I ordered the Large/XL for reference on measurements.

fits good. I have a 40 inch chest. I wouldn't go a size up unless you had about a 46 inch chest. I tried the xl first, way too big. The back plate is bigger on the xl, but the chest plate is the same size for the large/xl and medium

I was expecting it to be a bit smaller from previous reviews but overall, after some minor shoulder straps alterations, its a well built product and i wear it daily. If youre an xl in everyday life, then order this in xl.

This is exactly what I was expecting. The vest fits great and the straps stay put while driving. The panels do get a little warm, but most armor does. It allows me to feel safer while riding without the restriction of a full fledged jacket. There’s also two small pockets on the inside of the chest plate that are great for holding my phone and wallet. Would buy again.

I was going to try and make this work for a batman costume but ended up not using it.

Great quality and decent value. Need more time to see how well it wears but t a compliment to riding safety.

I love this vest! Im 6' 175 and it fits nice and snug. You can adjust it in many ways so im sure it will fit bigger or even smaller people. It also has a pretty useful pocket inside the chest area. Its a great vest at a great price. In the summer time it never bothered me in the California 100 degree heat. Now its winter and i wear it over my coats and sweaters without a problem.

I am happy with this protection vest. Well designed and thought out. Fits well and protects chest and back. I am using it for motorcycling. Have used it quite a bit and am impressed with its design.

Large/XL fits well. Am 5'9 130 lbs with a slim figure. Love all the adjusttable parts!
