Opening the plastic packaging could be hazardous to your health
I write this as a warning. No problem with the battery itself, but the plastic packaging is a nightmare. I started with scissors, no go. Then went to a box cutter, also a no go. Tried a hacksaw, not good. It’s super easy to hurt yourself trying to open it. In the end, I used a miter saw to slice it open. Here’s a message for the pinheads who designed this packing: Put it in a cardboard box.

Shipped separate from the mower, arrived a few days later. It will be nice to use this slightly smaller battery with the EGO edger.
