This is the cutest cookie jar I've owned. it's a little small for a cookie jar but I knew that when I bought it. It was just to cute to pass up. It appears to be well made and does have the seal on the bottom of the head to keep your cookies fresh a little longer. It's perfect for my Christmas cookies. It was packed well when shipped, in two boxes. the inner box allows you to store it when not using and keeps it from getting broken.
