Amazing mini moto with LOTS of fun to be had!
UPDATE-I’ve reached just over 3000 miles on this bike and through and through it’s an awesome bike for the price, I’ve had hours upon hours on it riding with friends, regular travel to work, and just riding for fun. I’m sad to say that the transmission has gone out in the bike, it felt like a huge lurch and then a large vibration and grinding noise coming from the engine where the transmission is. Took it to a local shop and they said they couldn’t rebuild it for me to buy a new engine. I’m hopeful X-pro will come through as they are an awesome company and have helped me with just about any issue I’ve had or questions pertaining to the bike. Don’t let the reviews scare ya, the bike is fun, easy to use, and just all around a blast. I’m determined to keep it alive and you won’t regret buying one! I bought this bike and fully expected to receive this bike in about 10-15 days. The bike arrived in 5. When it arrived it had a little damage happen during shipping to the front headlight fairing but xpro sent out all replacement parts pretty quick. Bike is at 177 miles and everything seems to be going smoothly! I just gotta say for a little under 1600$ shipped to your door for a brand new bike, this thing is an absolute steal for price. And I can honestly say you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Xpro for the amazing support and helping me with any issues I’ve had! I’ll update the review at 500 miles and 1000 miles. -Update- 650 miles- Bike has been great through and through, ran into a issue with the clutch slipping really badly. Done the break in process to the T and kept it below the maximum speed the engine side cover says. Went really well thinking maybe I just got a bad clutch from factory but hoping xpro sends out a new one! They’ve been extremely helpful with most if not all problems I’ve had! I’m thinking after the clutch is replaced I’ll be at 1000 miles in no time!

Dangerously Low Quality!
I was originally going to write a good review, because even with all the headaches, I still saved a lot of money over a Grom. The main problem I had with the bike is that it arrived with a broken speedometer. It is actually illegal for a manufacturer to ship a vehicle with safety components that do not work. The smart thing to do would have been to return the entire bike right then and there. But instead, I took in mind that I saved a lot of money on this purchase, and went ahead and contacted them and asked for a wiring diagram of the speed sensor. They didn't have a wiring diagram, so I asked them to send a replacement speed sensor, and let them know the urgency because I cannot ride the bike without knowing what speed I'm going or I'll get a ticket. It took them 2 weeks to send the speed sensor. They sent the wrong sensor. I then provided them a clear diagram of the correct sensor, they sent the wrong sensor two more times. The fourth time, which is now about 6 weeks later, they sent the correct sensor, and the speedometer still doesn't work. So I asked for a new gauge cluster, as this is the only other component that could have failed. They sent me a carburetor instead (a full week later, of course). I then had to wait another full week before getting the gauge cluster. After installing it, the speedometer finally started working, however the speed reading is so far off, it's completely unusable. And after all this, I was still willing to write a good 5-star review, because otherwise the bike was doing just fine. ... However, on my way home yesterday, the bike suddenly died and it wouldn't restart. Luckily I heard a weird hissing sound, looked down, and gasoline was draining out of the carburetor and onto the hot exhaust. I immediately turned the fuel valve off and was very lucky the gas did not ignite. When I inspected the carburetor, I found that the two fuel bowl bolts had backed out. When I inspected the bolts closely, there was no locking mechanism on the bolts, nor was there any loctite or thread compound of any kind. Let me make this clear; the only two bolts preventing gasoline from spilling onto the hot exhaust, had not been properly tightened, and had not been locked in place in any way. This bike has less than 30 miles on it. When I contacted them to let them know that their factory forgot to secure the bolts, they told me it was my fault for not checking them regularly, even though they know from our chat history that the bike is brand new and has barely ever been ridden, because of the speedometer issues. Update: After only 140miles, both motor mount bolts sheared off on my way home from work. Total and complete garbage.

Do your research, and this is a fun and friendly little bike to learn on.
So far so good. Came well before the promised shipping date, and the youtube videos on how to put it together (there are tons out there) are accurate. I put it together by myself in the matter of 30-40 minutes, and it would've been quicker with an extra pair of hands, but it's doable solo. With fresh oil and some gas it starts right up and gets moving, but you might need to tinker with the clutch cable as out of the box it was hard to shift. Do your research and look up videos about after market parts. It'll do for learning straight out of the box, but there are a few easy to do mods that make it run better. (factory air box is functional but not ideal. New carb with better filter made it so much more responsive.) A great fun little bike that has it's flaws, but it'll teach you how to ride and tinker. The quality is good for the price, but the cheaper chinese bolts and screws tend to strip/round off. I had no loose bolts on mine, in fact some were too tight, but always give a once over especially to the important ones. Despite it's flaws, I recommend it. Having never ridden/driven anything manual before, and only having watched videos on how it all functions, I was able to get up and moving with ease. For $1000 (before shipping) it's already paid for itself as a teaching tool. As an aside, they do send you the legal documents separately in the mail so you can get it registered. If you don't get them, message the seller; they were quick and helpful with answering my questions.
