I bought these scissors to replace a broken pair from a different manufacturer. I think these are well-designed. It comes apart easily to clean. It can handle multiple jobs: cutting, cracking nuts, opening bottles, or even as a screwdriver. The screw in the middle can be adjusted to change the tension to your preference.— MATERIAL—The scissors themselves are well-constructed with a weight to it when you're holding them. What I was not impressed by is the stainless steel quality. This rusted within the first week of normal handwashing! I had it replaced, but now I make sure to wipe it down as soon as I wash it to prevent any rust. Whether they fixed this in future models I don't know, but I won't take my chances and will just wipe it down in the meantime. You would think a company would choose decent stainless steel that can be washed without rusting.— CONCLUSION —If you keep in mind that the scissors could rust if not wiped down right away, these scissors are more than capable of doing multiple jobs.*** UPDATE ***I was able to get replacement scissors from the manufacturer. It was an easy process with their customer service. The new pair of scissors have not rusted like the previous one, but I do wipe it down immediately just in case. I have updated this review to reflect the quality of the product and the service I got.

I have bought kitchen scissors after kitchen scissors. The handles break they are hard to clean and they start rusting. I saw the Di Oro Brand Kitchen scissors so I decided too try them. They are Great. They have a good weight to them, they come apart for easer cleaning. They have a bone divot so you can cut through a bone, they have a serrated blade. They have the bottle top opener to loosen the tops to new bottles and the have two small screw drivers in the handles. If you are looking for good kitchen utility scissors Give the Di Oro brand a try.

These are great. Sharp for cutting. Good for splitting chicken breasts cutting pizza. They are substantial and feel great in the hand. They do not rust like other brands. Highly recommend

I like kitchen scissors that I can take apart and clean and these are great so far. They supposedly have a lifetime warranty. They do not come apart too easily but easily enough to clean and they cut well. I can't comment on durability just yet. I would recommend them

The holes were just a little too small my my hands, which are a bit large for women's hands. They were not uncomfortable to use; just not comfortable enough to get a 5-star rating. The shears are sharp and cut beautifully. Cut up a cardboard box like it was paper. They are tight, as you want shears to be, yet they come apart easily for washing. The metal blades are like a good knife, full tang as you might say. Each half of the shear is one piece of metal with the plastic cover applied for comfort. These will be more durable and more powerful than ones with a metal blade inserted into a plastic handle! And, they come with a lifetime warranty. Looking forward to many years of good use!

The media could not be loaded. Prior to purchasing the DI ORO kitchen scissors every other brand I bought broke after a few months. These kitchen scissors however are heavy weight and sturdy. They can crack a nut, remove fish scales, open a bottle, tighten a flathead screw, and come apart for cleaning. They also carry a lifetime guarantee from DI ORO. So good I also Amazon’ed them to family to try. Highly recommend purchasing DI ORO kitchen scissors.

I purchased these scissors less than a year ago and these are the BEST I've ever owned. They are sturdy, sharp, and easy to clean. I decided to give these scissors a chance because I own other DiORO kitchen products and have been very satisfied. Recently, I noticed some rust develop on the scissors which was really disappointing. I reached out to DiOro about this and they informed me that they offer a lifetime warranty on this product. They asked me to submit a warranty request and that they would send me a new pair of scissors right away. THIS is the kind of company I want to give my business to!
