EYEGUARD Reading Glasses with Portable Case Slim Mini Pocket Readers for Women Men Eye Glasses

I take the time to write reviews about products that I really recommend, and this is certainly one of them. I was looking for a set of reading glasses to keep in one of my pockets with a very slim design, wider lenses, and durable features. This purchase was a set of two, each enclosed in a durable, lightweight plastic case. The glasses pack rather flat in the 1/2 inch thick case. The appearance is that of a regular size of reading glasses. The lens is very clear and standard size. The manufacturer states spring hinges, and that is true, but they are rather tight. However, it is not important as the eyeglass arms are very durable and give way to fit perfectly. I've tried several different types of "Portable" reading glasses and have not been very happy with them. Types like the ones that fit into a roundish-like tube (The lens are small and the glasses, brittle). Then there's the type that fold in half into a small pouch (they will last for a very short time). I bought a very expensive pair much like these for about $90 that fit in a 1/4 inch metal case. Eventually the case began to bend and get dents. The glasses broke after about 4 months. They are still a very popular brand. I highly recommend these as an inexpensive, quality product that should last quite a while. If there was any suggestion I'd make is to offer the set of two in the same color. I personally would prefer two pair of black glasses.

I really like these glasses. I'm new to reading glasses and have recently purchased 2 pair from walgreens but have not been happy with how large Walgreen glasses are. Face it, while reading, you really don't need goggles and I find these to be a perfect size. So I wanted more compact size and before I tried these, I bought some of those reading glasses that come in a tube. I found those to be a little too small so I purchased these glasses. Perfect! Just a slight note of caution, I have a smallish face and these fit me very well. I think these would easily work with a little larger face but probably not for a very large face.

I bought two pairs of these and I quickly found out that they're a little delicate. I broke on pair by just opening them up; obviously a bit too robustly, they snapped in half at the nose. I was more careful with the second pair, but if you use them frequently they're not likely to last very long. Otherwise good optically and comfortable. I liked the slim profile and case. I clearly need to buy metal glasses vs. plastic for these slim, easy carry uses.

I'm hard to fit b/c I'm tiny and very fussy about quality and was skeptical I could find what I wanted on Amazon. I wanted extremely lightweight with good quality lenses, and nice looking of course. These fit the bill perfectly - super thin even at +2.25 (that's rare for drugstore glasses), and way more comfortable than the "ThinO.." competition. I expected to refill my new prescription at the optician for long reading sessions but still haven't bothered as I like these so much. Bonus: 2 pair means I can wear 1 around the house and keep 1 in my handbag and never show up to a restaurant without them. Note, if you have a large face, these may not be for you, but then again there are TONS of large glasses out there, small not so much.

Work well. Seem to be made well. Nice case. Handy 2 pack. Strength seems reliable. Good buy.

With continuous struggles in this new life of need-based and accessible reading glasses on hand, I was finding that "normal-sized" reading glasses are such a struggle to carry around when on the go (constantly breaking them in my pockets). My buddy pulled these out and I instantly went to Amazon to purchase. The compact nature of the glasses combined with the hard case has been a gift for me. I can carry these around with no concerns about bending over or kneeling down to pick things up and end up crushing them. I am a busy person who is on the go regularly and these glasses have changed the convenience for me and the need to have glasses with me at all times. A little short when trying to fit them over my ears, but worth the trade off of having them tucked away in my pocket with no need to worry about them breaking.

These have become my go-to readers. Unfortunately, I have purchased half a dozen pair and two rims have broken but I keep buying more because they are so comfortable. The arms are VERY thin & don't weigh on my ears so I can wear these all day without feeling it. And I can use my over ear headphones while wearing them!
