Screwed over my computer installing this.
I bought this GPU with the hope of keeping my computer alive longer, and as a cheaper alternative then buying a new processor and motherboard. Unfortunately when I tried putting it into the slot, and hooked it up to my screen nothing came up. Zip, Nada, NOTHING. I plugged in my old GPU, and it was recognized. Upon suggestion, I uninstalled my old drivers, and attempted to install the ones off the CD...it BOSDed halfway through installation. my motherboard was more then able to handle this GPU, and despite checking multiple times if it was plugged in, and plugged to the PSU, it would still never register to the board. While not relevant, but still significant to my review, I gave up and tried to re-install my old GPU, which despite being detected before having the drivers installed, was no longer picked up both the old GPU, or the onboard connections upon installing the drivers. For the headache in putting in, and the headache even upon removal for what is likely a GPU that was dead on arrival, I cannot recommend ASUS, ever, again, and must suffer the "I told you so" from one of my tech-friends, and another who told me to go with a newer GTX 600 model since I was working fine with a GTX 440 before. Thanks Asus.

Respectable performance; reasonably priced.
I am not interested in paying premiums for ultra-state-of-the-art computer hardware. Prices of even the best components frequently become decent deals after successors are introduced and touted. This is one (I paid $113). If you are not into pushing your machine to the limit no matter the cost, this is one fine card. I assemble my computers from parts I pick up from online sellers; I look for stable, reliable performance, rather than the ability to max out the ultimate in-vogue tests. I am not a "gamer," although I do use my machines for graphics-intensive enterprises. I probably over-research my purchases, looking for commonsense performance and reliability. I recently updated my desktop with what some might consider "dated" hardware: an AMD 6350 six-core processor; 8 GB Corsair 1866 ram; ASUS M5A97 R2 MB (so I am crossfire capable) - all for a very reasonable sum, as these are a little dated. W/O OC I am getting 3.9 GHz from the processor. Windows experience Ratings: CPU = 7.5; RAM = 7.9; Graphics = 7.5; Gaming Graphics = 7.5. Okay, my GPU ain't giving me 7.9, but 7.5 makes me plenty happy (have not tweaked the GPU, so I could probably raise that score). As is, it runs fast, cool, and quiet. I do use multiple monitors, so the port options influenced my original choice. I have been running this GPU a month now, and it seems flawless.

Excellent cheap videocard
I bought two of these cards for my PC and they have definitely held up well. They do a great job on performance for the price. They might not handle the latest game at the highest settings, but you're probably not looking for this cheap of a card for that anyway.I've been running bitcoin mining (essentially running at 100%) constantly for months with no crashes or other issues. The Asus software is really helpful if you want to overclock, but don't really know what you are doing.

Good Deal for the Money!
Very fast for the price. Used in a new build and it installed easily. It handles games and multiple programs flawlessly.

Piece of *******
Bough two of these. Tried to use on Windows 8.1. First had massive video memory errors from the bios screen through to windows booting up. Returned (THANKS AMAZON PRIME :-D ) and got another. This one booted up fine, and windows installed a generic video driver to get me started, as it normally would. Downloaded the newest drivers from AMD's site, installed and the screen went blank while installing. Reboot, nada. Uninstalled (working with generic driver again) and used an older driver. Wash/rinse/repeat many times with many drivers including those off the included CD.Maybe the first card was a fluke. Maybe Asus can make a great video card. Maybe Windows 8.1 is just difficult to make drivers for. But I don't care anymore. Returned it ( THANKS AGAIN AMAZON PRIME ) and bought a used NVidia 480GT from a friend. Worked fine first time with any driver and game I threw at it. I'm done with ATi graphics.

I like it...
I've read some mixed reviews but was sold on a couple of features: quiet, low power consumption, and multiple display output options. I'm happy to say the adapter is working well. My graphics performance rating on windows 7 went from 3.8 (using on board graphics) to 7.5 with the new adapter. It is very quiet (barely louder than it was before). I've had no problems with installation and no problems with crashes. There are lots of configurable options included with the software. I'm not a gamer so I can't comment on that end of it. I expect mid-level performance from a mid-level priced card as far as games go. Of course it will not perform like a $400 card and I don't expect it to, nor do I need it to. I did have to upgrade the power supply in my HP; shocked to see that it was only 250 watts. Upgraded to 500 watts; easy to do. Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500w Power Supply (RS500-PCARD3-US) The video card states it requires 450 watts. So might want to check your power supply; a under-powered computer will have problems.
