Bitter to Dog and Prevented Further Chewing & Irritation to Hot Spots
Works as described and kept my pup from chewing a hot-spot. Smells pleasant to me and is unpleasant for her. Non-irritating to her skin and prevented further chewing so her skin could heal. Arrived in time needed and was carefully packaged. I would recommend this product and seller. Thank you!

Ineffective
My dog licked his way right thru this spray. I sprayed and he continued licking, so I thought it might be because the application was still wet. I next put his cone on, sprayed his paws, and let it dry for 45 min. He licked right thru the spray again. I was curious about how bitter it was, so I sprayed my finger. The spray is bitter, but wouldn't deter me if my paws were aggravating. Back to the drawing board

It kind of works but mostly its just 'okay'
I might have to leave an updated review in the future in case anything changes, but for now its just 3 solid stars. That doesn't mean that I regret buying it, quite the contrary. It just means that I wish it were stronger and more effective. Look, I get it...they have to be careful not to create a product that harms dogs and leaves themselves liable in case some knucklehead dog owner doesn't use it properly and then tries to hold them responsible (why take accountability in reading instructions when you can simply blame someone else? welcome to America!!!) PROs: -It definitely made my dog wince a bit each time I sprayed it on his leash and even when I sprayed a little bit into his mouth. YES, you CAN spray into his mouth... that is EXACTLY what dog trainers recommend. They tell you to spray a little bit into your dog's mouth so he understands that it tastes terrible, and then your dog needs to see you spraying it on the leash or area you want him to stop chewing. That way he will put two and two together and associate the horrible experience in his mouth with the area he should avoid. Ideally that will lead him to NOT chew on that area! (if only the world were that easy) - The bottle is pretty big. Much more solution then I expected! - The stuff does actually work a little bit...it made my dog take notice (but he did still bite on the leash while we trained him to get used to the new invisible dog fence we installed) CONs - not too many cons other than it needs to be a little more stronger for bigger dogs like my larger black lab. (maybe offer TWO versions? one for smaller dogs and one for bigger??? who knows) - its going to take repetition and practice to make this work. Dogs are stubborn and resilient...two characteristics that help them survive but also super frustrating to work with. You MUST make this process a daily routine to change your dog's behavior. If you think this is just something where you can just spray a ton of it on an area and be done with it then you should not buy this. If your dog is chewing on something its a behavior that needs to stop and this is just one of the tools to help you in changing his behavior through repetition to instill a more desired behavior. (channeling my inner Cesar Milan here but its true) Hope this helps. Again, not a bad product at all. Just not yet deserving of more stars at this point...but I will edit if anything changes. PS. I actually caught a bunch of this in my own mouth while spraying it in the wind. WARNING: DON'T spray it in the wind!!! It tastes effing HORRIBLE!!!! So if you are trying to train a human...this is MORE than strong enough.

Wow - a product that works
I have a 9 month old golden doodle that has destroyed (chewing) my living room furniture. Sheโs chewed all decorative pillow corners & now the actual sofa arms. Bought this Bitter no chew & hot spot spray Lenongrass . I bought because of reviews & itโs been an awesome product. This has a very strong smell difficult to explain the smell - not bad - not great/ sort off cheap cologne but tones down after a day. This is highly bitter, additionally, open windows when u spray it. The atomized spray will get into your nose, rear throat , itโs wicked. Now, my doodle will chew anything that she can grab & destroy it. Example many pairs of shoes. So I took the un chewed leftover rubber crock shoe & sprayed it.( if itโs rubber she canโt resist it) I sprayed it & put it on an ottoman where she would be able to take it! I sprayed all pillow corners, arms of sofa that she continues to chew! Guess what no more chewing. I saw her try to chew one of the recently sprayed area & the look & negative reaction was priceless. ( I really enjoyed watching her negative reaction- it was priceless-my bad, but still priceless). Well itโs been two days & the crock shoe is still on the ottoman & she hasnโt touched it or any of the previously chewed spots. I took a leftover pillow that hadnโt been chewed sprayed & put it where she could chew or grab it. Well, sheโs left it alone. Finally a product that works. It doesnโt take much to be effective. The scent isnโt bad except initially. No more chewing & destroying things! I gave the scent 5 stars not because itโs awesome scent but because I believe the strong scent help deter the dog , along with the horrid bitter taste.

Seems to work well
Has worked pretty well so far. I didn't read the instructions properly and vigorously sprayed a rug inside the house. Had to put the rug outside while it and the rest of the house aired out. If you're not careful, it will get in your mouth/nose, and it's not pleasant. All that was my fault, though ๐ Other than that, my dogs haven't chewed the rug at all UPDATE: Must reapply periodically. I guess the smell/taste faded and my dogs started tearing up the rug again ๐ so just have to remember to spray it again from time to time

Had high hopes but did not work for my dog.
I had high hopes for this to help keep my dog from chewing her paws. Unfortunately the smell is quite strong so she is immediately coughing when applying it. I have tried to even spray it on my hands and apply it and the smell is still strong. And to top it off, it does not last long so it does not keep her from licking and chewing her paws. It may work better to keep a dog from chewing furniture, etc. but did not work on my dogโs paws.

Nasty, but effective
This is the nastiest. Wear one of your coronavirus masks when you spray it because if there is the slightest breeze you will regret it when it sticks to your tongue and tastes like citrus death. The smell isn't great but fades. Got this because we have a cat who likes wires and a foster dog who eats our wooden fence. The fence was the big concern since he has gone for it every time he goes outside since he discovered he likes the taste of splinters. The first time we replaced the slat and an hour later the new one was in pieces. Huskies, man! After spraying it down and then brushing my teeth to get rid of the disgusting aftertaste, I let it dry before letting him out. The fence is still whole a week later, and he sticks to branches and occasionally the bones or chew toys we provided in earnest. I didn't get to see his face when he sampled it,, but I think the scent itself deterred him since there isn't any kind of new mark on the fence where he kept chewing it before. The cat who eats wires.... not sure if it worked or not. Said cat goes through phases and just decides randomly one night to chew through three cables, then won't do it again for 5 months. Hopefully if we keep this stuff on, the next time he decides to nibble a wire he will regret it and won't try to fry himself.

Useless; waste of money
I bought this to help with my cats, which this indicates it works for as well. Like someone else mentioned, the cats licked it off. It did nothing to deter them from anything. The scent is nice but, worthless. I would not recommend anyone waste $40+ like I did for something that does not work
