Hi Yes it will only thing you may need to look at distance of the ball from the vehicle , there is a diagram in the Thule instructions to show this or you can get them by a search online we do sell spacers if you need them 12 25 and 38 mm, but every possibility not need just depends on ball fixing point and rear bumper position, kind regards Andy

How much higher does the higher ball lift the tow hitch?

At least an inch and it angles a little bit away from the car. I bought it to clear the spare wheel on a Land Cruiser with a bicycle carrier.
