This is a great knee scooter
Had major surgery on my foot and at least 6 to 8 weeks non weight-bearing restrictions on Mt foot. I was looking for a scooter that was sturdy enough to go outdoors on grass and smooth ground so 10-12" pneumatic tires we a must. I chose this scooter because of price, almost $100 cheaper than top of the line models and other very good features. It has dual disk brakes. They work great. It came with a nice wire basket. It was of heavy duty construction. After using it daily there are a couple of features that could.be improved. The handle is supposed ro fold down for storages in a car. I have not found this easy to do for someone taking me somewhere. Not a deal breaker, just inconvenient. Need better instructions that can be attached to the scooter. Turning radius is wide but I don'tsee how it could be much improved and keep stability for older or beginner riders. A design change might be to allow it to be adjusted for experienced riders with more confident balance. Also not a deal breaker. There is one important add on missing--a 2" memory foam cushion to go on top of the scooters cushion. There are multiple after market cushions for purchase for $15 or so. Buy one when you buy the scooter. You will thank me and others who make this recommendation. Overall, this is a great scooter. Not cheap, but you will not be disappointed. I am confident I could sell it on a marketplace to recoup some of the original cost when I no longer need it.

This is needed for survival with a toddler.
Broken ankle and foot, in a cast for 6 weeks with a toddler. This is a MUST. I can't due crutches due to rheumatoid arthritis. Great product. Great for in the house and on the road. I've found it difficult to go up hills on the grass but that could be that im not particularly muscular and that takes a lot of strength. Use cation going down hills and use the brakes just like a bike due to picking up speed quickly. I couldn't manage my life without this right now. You'll be so grateful for the little basket.Tip: get kneepads to crawl around and clean up your toddlers toys. Also a must!

Great for Bigger People
This is a wonderful scooter - for bigger people. I bought it in part for the inflated tires but it ended up being too big and heavy for me. When scooting around the house I spent a lot of time picking up one end or the other to redirect and get thru tighter turns. And the seat on the lowest setting was too high for me so that I could only touch the ground with my useful foot at the toes. Lesson learned.I bought a different one that said it was "for children and small adults" and that one works for me. My new one does not have inflated tires and I miss that feature. I can feel every bump and the grout between floors tiles with the smaller scooter.I also miss that this bigger scooter has hand breaks on each side. My smaller one does not so I had to learn to adjust grabbing on before scooting off.And lastly, not know that the break cables on this bigger scooter can catch on knobs - like in the kitchen. I'm blessed to have a very handy husband so he figured out a way to zip tie them back. Problem solved.

***Updated***Product support for purchase via Amazon has a single point of failure.
The all terrain knee walker from Bodymed worked well for me. I am a big guy and I wanted something that would stand up to my weight. The 350 lb weight limit on the Bodymed knee walker seemed to fit the bill. About 5.5 months later the right rear wheel came off. After looking at it I found that the hex head both that attaches the wheel to the wheel hub had sheared off. I am a big guy, just over 300 lbs but am well shy of 350 lbs. The issue I have is with the product support from Bodymed. When I contacted them the person that answered the phone told me that my knee walker was still covered by the factory warranty, which I appreciated. When she found out I ordered it through Amazon I was given a name and extension and was transferred to that person. The call went directly to voicemail. 3 business days and 4 more direct to voicemail calls later I still have not heard back from what is apparently the single point of failure for the Bodymed warranty process if you purchase through Amazon. The last 2 voicemails I left I even explained that due to a no weight bearing post surgery requirement that I have, the knee walker was the main source of my now limited mobility. The product support brought this 5-star review down to a 1-star review. I love the product, if only their support matched it.I will update this review if anything changes.***Update***About 60 min after this review posted I received a call from the company. I was informed that my knee scooter was covered by the warranty and a new one would be sent out the next day. I received the new scooter 2 days later. It seems the company only has one person working on claims for Amazon purchases. Once I received the call there were no issues at all, that isxwhy I updated my review to 4 stars.
