I can't explain what this does, but it's GREAT!
I don't know why this liquid does to food what it does, but it truly DOES something. It's an umami thing; you can't explain it but it gives everything you put it in something deep and rich. Maybe because it's soy-based, and so is white miso paste, which is also soy-based and which makes everything you put it into something better than without it. Okay, that's a convoluted way of saying that I don't know how, but it makes everything taste better. Even scrambled eggs. And it doesn't take much, just a half spoonful, depending on the size of the dish you're making. Or salad dressing, or stew, or soup, or salad dressing or baked fish. It also has a rich aroma to it, which is very pleasant.

Surprising multi use umami flavor in a bottle
Delicious and surprisingly light I’ve been putting this on everything from vegetables that are steamed scrambled eggs in my guacamole in my soups, still finding more uses for this delicious umami flavor

Outstanding Umami!
This sauce is seriously amazing, I’m so glad I tried it! It adds so much umami instantly! It’s quickly become an essential staple in my kitchen. It’s sort of like a liquid vegetable bullion with a light soy essence, but without the massive amounts of salt and artificial bullion aftertaste. It does not have an overly fermented soy taste, it’s closer to edamame? It’s a nice clean flavor. It is salty, not as much as pure soy sauce or bullion, but I still use it sparingly like regular soy sauce. It does taste a bit more “raw” as a condiment straight from the bottle, but used with heat or in salad dressings and marinades, it really shines. It’s great sprinkled on stir fry veggies on high heat much like soy, it gets that savory caramelized coating. I add it to rice, dressings, dashi, tofu marinade, it’s incredibly versatile. It’s truly a secret weapon in the kitchen!

I did not taste the "Yondu tranformation" in my food.
I did not find the Yondu a wonder: Neither mixed into food for cooking, nor added as eating. I am not much of a cook, so take that into consideration. But I did find two other sauces that used independently or together? They filled my needs in the very magical way that Yondu is described by others but did not work for me. They are: 1. Kikkomen Smooth Soy Sauce 2. Kikkomen Noodle Soup Base. (Fish Sauce) I find it ironic that I have chosen two Kikkomen sauces, as I also purchased their Kikkomen Lite Soy Sauce and found it to be absolute garbage. And I'm fairly certain that I am not terribly keen on their regular soy sauce. But these other two sauces? They really do it for me. Very much in the same way that Yondu seems to do it for most everyone else. I found Yondu to be intrinsically lacking a deliciousness profile. And I understand that its character may be one more of invisibility of its own footprint, but to amp up and complete the flavors of everything that it's put with. I did use it more as an "add on" and less of an "added to". Though with eggs it was both, depending on how they were cooked. Based on the other reviews? I feel compelled to give it another run. I have not yet read the recipe book included with the purchase. I will update my. review if I have a better experience.

Buonissima provata finalmente ieri. Arriva confezionata benissimo in una scatolina di carta con all'interno il prodotto con attaccato un etichetta con scritto gli ingredienti in lingua italiana. La sua composizione è salutare senza zucchero o altri conservanti nocivi. È un prodotto che dà sapore ai piatti e allo stesso tempo fa bene alla flora batterica dell'intestino. Non è una salsa di soia classica ma di colore molto più chiaro e il sapore simile alla soia ma delicato. Aggiornamento Ricomprata agosto 2024 meravigliosa come sempre ho preso infatti la misura un po' più grande

Una maravilla de producto. Apto para veganos y sin gluten. Ingredientes: esencia de soja ecológica (soja, sal, agua), cebolla, rábano blanco, puerro, col, zanahoria, shiitake, jengibre, ajo y extracto de levadura. Otorga un toque umami a los platos. Parecido a una salsa de soja, pero menos salada y con más matices y apenas tiñe la comida. Llevo años empleando este producto y lo utilizo bastante a menudo. Cunde mucho porque no es necesario abusar de él. Casa con arroces, pastas, legumbres, caldos, cremas... Enamora fácilmente.

Consiglio di utilizzarlo un pò dappertutto perchè da un gusto davvero particolare, pieno. Soprattutto utilizzatelo sulle insalate, dove sostituisce sale e salsa di soia. Consigliato ai vegani. E' saporito! Questa confezione grande, in particolare, è molto conveniente (ne basta poco, infatti, per dare sapore).
