Felted Bags, Boots & Other Things: 56 Projects Paperback – May 1, 2008

The author's parents hosted my wife and me in their home a couple months ago. As part of our conversation they showed us several books by their daughter, Cendrine Armani. We purchased this book from Amazon after searching for the author, not the subject. We were very pleased with the book and will gift it to our ten year old granddaughter who, along with her girl friend, is very much into designing ladies fashions.

I purchased this book primarily for boots. While all of the methodlogy pictures are very good in this book--there are only 2 patterns for boots: one for little girls (Mary Jane style) and one for boys (ankle boots w/fold-down collar.) Not what I was expecting nor looking for. Otherwise, it's a very good book. Maybe it should have just been called "Felted Bags & Other Things."

This book is great for beginners and more. I know the author has written several others, but this is the only one in English. wish there were more!!!

Nice book for beginners but not much challenge, and while they have two patterns for children they were not really boots and not for adults at all! title should be felting a beginners guide to wet felting and basic projects! I am trying to design my own slippers with 3d felting and it was a waste for me, I gave to another who was learning.

This is a book which deals with the basics of wet felt making and is inexpensive, so no great outlay to learn or dabble in something new.Great small and easily made projects for beginners. Ideal for creative projects with children or teenagers groups.It would have been good to be able to have a preview as I would not have bought it. The projects were not exciting or stretching,or challenging enough for me.

Most disappointed in this misnomer of a book......there are snug shoes for boys and girls (very small sizes) and not a boot in sight, which is what I bought it for.......it should be called 'felted bags and purses' because that is pretty much it, but of course that does not sound so catchy.

This book was bought as a present for someone else. The cover is eye catching and the book is full of useful information.

I found that although a lot of the items are made in the same way, it gave me lots of extra ideas to make things.
