Have on on hand if you have a well. You never know when a pipe will break on you.
Our go to pipe glue. Dries quickly and very affective at holding pipes together.

Best ever
Forget "red hot"...the pipes have to be completely dry and then you have to wait to pressure test everything. This cement is my go to all the time now. I cant buy it in California now so have Amazon ship it to me. It can be used on wet or dry pipe, has a low VOC and sets up almost immediately. I would not recommend for those that need "play" after gluing.. Its sets up fast. Probably not a cement for the average homeowner (less you know what your doing)

Fast drying, sometimes too fast.
Wet or dry? Yes. Better be quick, it goes on and you press it together and it dries. If you take your time it won't go in or maybe half way and youre SOL.

good stuff
It does what it is supposed to do. It is hard to keep this stuff from going bad, though. If I close the lid TOO tight, it is virtually impossible to open it again. I close it "snug" but leave it so that I can re-open. Then I place it in a ziploc bag to keep air out. Still, it is already getting a little clumpy after about 2-3 months. I am not sure how long it is supposed to last (shelf life), but it is a good product.
