Simple, good looking and effective
So glad I got this. I had been using an old aluminium one with a steel plate on my induction job but that wasn’t very efficient. This new induction one looks good and is solid enough, I had my concerns about the fairly flimsy look of the lid, with no plastic or other non-metal material covering the thumb-lift/trigger part of the lid near the handle, and doesn’t have the robust hinge of the classic aluminium ones. But actually the design of this one just makes it simpler and easier to clean. It would be helpful if the item came with a spare silicone gasket but that’s maybe just me always wanting to have a spare. The main thing is it does the job of making coffee very well. I have the 4-cup and I’m now going to buy a larger one.

My new Bialetti
I was looking to replace my old Bialetti which was the classic Aluminium one that goes on a gas stove. However, I have an electric hob and was really in need of a Moka coffee maker that works on it. Plus, my old Bialetti had stains on the inside of the base and didn't really like that. This one does the job just as well and it looks more stylish. I also learnt that you're not supposed to use soap on it (my bad on the previous one) and that it's best to wash it by hand. It is also made of stainless steel which is definitely a plus I know aluminium is a no no (it might have just an element made of aluminium, but not 100% sure). It makes 3 decent cups of espresso (they say 4, but probably I didn't fill it to the top). So all in all I am happy with the purchase.

Great but no idea why they put teflon inside the water holder
I bought this two years ago and loved it (untill I gave it to a friend in feb23 in Greece) but the second one I bought to replace it didn't brew the coffee properly, as seemed it would only brew half the water. Returned item which maybe was a faulty due to pressure system but working correctly. Prob just a one off fault. When it worked, it's a beautiful looking coffee pot and easy to clean. I don't understand the Teflon coated water holder (bottom part) and this is stoping me from ordering another new one. Why they don't leave it stainless steel is unknown. Might try the aluminium one going forward until they change this. Worth considering before buying but other than that fab product and great coffee

Great Moka pot for people new Moka pots or coffee in general
It took me a while to learn how to actually make good tasting coffee with a Moka pot, but it was definitely worth it. While it's not espresso, it's a good substitute to buying an expensive espresso machine or going out everyday to buy coffee, I use it almost everyday. This is Bialetti which known as THE Moka pot brand so you're getting a solid product.Know that one serving from this pot is about 2 shots of espresso, so don't expect a big mug of coffee like I did before buying. But I still recommend this pot if you're new to making coffee at home since it's easy to use once you get the hang of it.I also recommend buying a hand grinder and grinding your own coffee beans, though that will also take some time to learn, hint: you probably need to go finer than you think.I love the design as well, very futuristic/Sci-Fi, like something you'd read about in the Dune novels.

excellent BUT much much smaller than it says
Really high quality. I'm very impressed with how sturdy it is, and it has a lovely handle. However, I bought the 4 cup version thinking i was getting a moka pot that would serve 2 people without any trouble, but it can't even serve two. I imagine the 8 cup version will serve two people very nicely if you want a high quality moka pot!

Works beautifully if you actually follow the instructions
I have had this pot for a year now with no issues whatsoever. It is a thing of beauty and works fine on my fairly cheap induction hob.Note that you should NOT turn the heat up full blast to make the coffee, let it perculate gradually to get a nice brew - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Otherwise you will burn it out, and, the coffee will be weak. If you have a max heat of 9 on your cokker, I would set it to 7 as the highest. If it boils really quick and sputters violently when finished - ITS TOO HOT!The photos you see of people with burned out pots and broken valves ... guess what! Finally some reviewers are upset that this now made in China rather than Italy and uses substandard materials ... I think that says more about them than the coffee pot itself. Finally, in case you missed it, DON'T TURN THE HEAT UP TO MAX!Thank you.
