This steamer does EVERYTHING!!!!
I originally bought this steamer during the COVID‑19 pandemic, and I’m not even ashamed to admit it was so I could properly steam the outfits from my impressive collection of high‑end Black Barbie dolls. Since then, she has become the multitasking queen of my household. I use her to clean and sanitize pillows, upholstered furniture, and even my IKEA 10" memory foam mattress. I’ve also treated myself to the occasional steam facial—she’s that versatile. The miniature iron that doubles as the steam nozzle is incredibly handy, and I love how much water she holds. The ironing board that converts into a hanging rack is another thoughtful touch that makes steaming clothes so much easier. She may be a pricey girl, but she earns every penny. I bought her in 2020, and she’s still working like new in 2026. Rowenta for the win, I would buy her again!!!

Broke after one use! Water comes out from the sole plate, and iron won't heat up.
I have used the iron ONCE! and it wasn't even that great of an iron comparing to regular Rowenta iron. The second time I used it, no steam would come out when I pressed the button, no matter how long I pressed it. Then when I tilt it horizontally, water comes out from the holes at the sole plate. The sole plate does even get hot. I then look up the instructions, and it says "You have pressed the steam trigger too much & the iron soleplate temperature is decreasing." and "The iron has been inclined for too long." Solutions are to "Press less on the trigger in order for the soleplate temperature to increase", and "Do not hesitate to change the iron position"... So I turned it off, and let it cool down, then I turned it back on, and press down on the trigger, and hoping that steam would come out this time. NOPE, nothing, and then when I "did not hesitate to change the iron position", water comes out... I just completed the "Contact Us" form on Rowenta, and hopefully will hear back from them on what to do with this $199.99 water blaster...

So good we had to have two. Yes, I know.
I have two houses. (not as impressive as it sounds) In house #1 was an iron. I was going to buy an iron for house #2. Wife says, "You know... I think you should buy a steamer." I've been married 40 years. I bought a steamer like I was told. I set it up. No problem. She takes wrinkled things from house #1 to house #2 to steam them instead of using the iron. She moves between houses for her work and brings things to the steamer and takes them back when she changes houses. So... for Christmas ...she thinks our daughters in house #1 need to have one "to share". Uh huh. I had to buy another one because she loves, and brags, and "irons," and steams and just almost giggles as she does it. The kicker is that the iron she does not use was more expensive than this steamer / board combination. I am happy she is happy.

This is great but with qualifiers! Please read.
So got this and it’s exactly what I wanted for two reasons. It is easier for me to have it in my room than an ironing board and iron. It does exactly what it advertises. It steams and it can iron off the built in ironing board. The board is square which does not work all that well for ironing clothes such as sleeves and pant pleats. However, you can steam out most wrinkles. The trigger for the iron steam has to be depressed all the time for steam to come out which is probably a safety feature but is also annoying. One commenter mentioned that the base that holds the water that the iron is attached to is fixed to the base. In my unit that is NOT the case. It plugs in to an outlet but can be moved off the base as far as the cord will allow which is about the length of a traditional corded iron. Putting it together was a chore. The directions are not clear. Think IKEA furniture. Now the one thing you have to watch out for are the poles that mount to the base on either side. They extend to three separate lengths the first two are fairly intuitive but to extend the poles to where the need to be for the board is not clear. Inside the tip of the poles there is a tab you must depress and pull the poles to their fully upright position. Make sure you line the poles with the indent facing forward on the tip and clamp them in with the provided clamp or they will move and become unsafe. Overall the product does a lot but like products that do many things it does not do one thing well. It’s adequate and works with the combined steam but the iron itself is not hot enough to iron without the steam. The ironing board is tall for me and I’m 5’11” . You can adjust it down if you would like. Makes sure to clamp the poles back if you lower it or it could fall while ironing. Lastly the tiny flap on the front of the main unit to add water is small and makes it hard to pour water into the unit. I would recommend a funnel for the unit since it does not come with one.

Hate ironing; Love this Appliance!
Just got my steam iron/board. Took a bit to assemble. Instructions are of little help but YouTube videos make assembly doable. The process of upright steaming/ironing makes pressing clothes a breeze. I am so happy with my purchase. Best Buy of 2025. I disassembled for easy storage because my home has limited space. Really looking forward to less dry cleaning and quicker access to my wardrobe. Mil gracias!!!
