Love them.
These are my go-to for storing any ammo. Bought some 10 years ago, then bought some more recently. Still the same good product at a decent price.

Great value
Good quality boxes for the most part. Solid hinges and latches, and i like the transparent lid so you can see your ammo at a glance.

Nice, basic ammo cases
Nice little ammo cases. I prefer to use these over the boxes included with ammo purchases as it's easier for me to keep track of how many rounds I go through with these over many small boxes of ammo. Can't go wrong for the price, and they seem well-built with relatively thick plastic. Some stickers are included if you plan to buy a ton of these and/or have different types of ammunition you're going to use, though this wasn't much of a concern for me. I fill two of these up to bring with me to the range and haven't had any issues. I will agree with some other reviews in saying that the rounds can, at times, be difficult to get out of the case, particularly the outermost rows/columns. You also need to put the rounds with the bullet facing up in order to prevent them from rattling around which might be a nuisance for some but isn't an issue for me.

Very nice case for your ammo
I have standardized on these cases for all of my ammo. I keep about 500 rounds per caliber in these cases. The cases are very sturdy and secure...no chance of the lock tabs becoming unfastened, spilling the contents. The case is not watertight, but would prevent water pouring from above from getting inside the case with the ammo. The case comes with sticky labels, but I didn't use them because the case actually already has 9mm-380acp molded into the plastic under the front lock tabs. These cases are a little more pricey than some on the market, but the grade of plastic is stronger, and the lock tabs more secure than others I've seen.

Best for bench use.
Well made. I am moving to this design over types with a flex hinge so the box will open and stay flat on the bench without the "memory" of the hinge causing the top to close over. The last order had one with a cracked hinge, so they are not indestructible and I am sure Amazon would have made it right had I complained, but the base makes a fine reloading/staging block anyway. The tops can be snapped off the base, but I would not do that frequently. As others have mentioned the 9/380 model has some play in the cells and the contents move a bit, but for me these are storage and range boxes not field boxes so the slight movement is not an issue. I have noted that either size can tip into the latch edge and interfere with snapping it closed. Tip the box to the hinge side a bit and they close with no problem. They come with the common box labels. P-touch regular labels to not stick, but the P-touch strong labels work great.

Perfect
Perfect ammo boxes - get a bunch and keep them together in your larger ammo bag or box and be organized for the range or the hunt. Perfect for those that like to have ammo nose up.

worth it - go with the name you know
well, I think I've seen enough Plano tackle boxes over my 4 decades to know the name --- and the toughness of their stuff. I've never seen one fall apart - even with lots of abuse. Well, ammo in thin cardboard boxes won't stay organzied for long in your range bags or especially your EDC / GHB / or Bug out Bags...so you need some sort of ammo case. I am VERY happy I settled on the plano boxes - some I tried are just too flimsy to feel like they'd last - not a problem with the Plano boxes. with the 9mm version there is a slight gap between the height of the rounds and the lid, so I cut a piece of Tuff Cloth the size of the box and now I have what I consider to be the best gun cleaning cloths made handy - more than enough to work perfectly for cleaning. I still need 5 or 6 more of these....they will be Plano's too. Amazon has a great price on them and they arrived quickly.

Exactly as spec'd. Addendum
These boxes are perfect for 45 Colt, (aka .45 Long Colt) The Smartreloader boxes which say they are good for 45 Colt are too big and the rounds wobble a lot. If you go to the trouble to make 100's of rounds you want them stored well. Added: 5/13/2014 Now I understand all the confusion here with the 45 ACP re-loaders. I first bought a couple of these at a local store because embossed in the molding of the base of this case is .44 MAG - .45 L Colt. You can see these embossed lables in the photos on Amazon, but unfortunately Amazon lists it for .44 and .45 Ammo which is too generic for re-loaders and NOT how it is labeled by Plano. Plano makes a 1227-00 100 Count Handgun case for .45 ACP, .40 S&W, 10mm . Plano 100 Count Handgun Ammo Case (for .45, .40 and 10mm Ammo) Amazon, we love you, but when it comes to reloading items you really should be more specific in your descriptions. I have learned long ago that when you find something you like on Amazon, go to the mfg. website and make sure the Item Model Number listed under Product Details on Amazon is exactly what you think you are ordering.

Sturdy ammo box
It does what it is supposed to and seems quite sturdy. It comes with quite a few labels which is handy. Just bear in mind though that it is quite large (for obvious reasons) and that if you are using a top locking shelf in a gun cabinet, there is a good chance this won't fit in (I am writing from personal experience here). I can't blame the box for this!
