The plastic vent does not in my opinion help with the steam.Using a filter does make the mask bulkier & hotter.The mask shrunk in the wash.The elastic strings are long, I made a loop to shorten them.I'm still using this months later but it's not ideal and would not buy it again.

Likes.Very inexpensive material and sewing finish excellent.Adjustable ear elastics.Fits a mans face comfortablyAdjustable nose piece (pliable metal band)) helps makes the mask with a fair to good fit.Looks good. Would/have purchased again.Dislikes.Disposable filter extremely thin and small which are held in place behind a sewn in pocket inside the mask, consequently it doesn't keep the inside of the mask clean; IE I think the pocket will get very dirty, only time will tell.I feel the disposable filter is not large enough to cover the nose and the mouth.The black plastic valve is it for show and does it serve a purpose? I feel the answer is no.Though the fit is reasonable around the nose I know spectacle wearer's will be prone to their glass's steaming up, hence it is nowhere close to an air tight fit, though is better than some of these masks I have tried.I haven't washed my yet though I feel it wouldn't survive many boil washes, which is advised to kill the corona virus.ConclusionI would and have bought again, for the above reasons, I'm not sure if I should have ordered half a dozen, at the price I paid which isn't much more expensive than the throw away masks, maybe I should have, only time will tell.

I ordered the maroon colour as I read from previous reviews that the pale blue was a small fit. This colour fits both myself and husband. The three masks also came with three filters. I tried one on for a short time and didn’t really like wearing it as the material is quite thick but If it is law then I will have to. I also bought a few light cotton masks from a local lady who made them a lot cheaper than these and they are more comfortable to wear but without the ‘air vent’. They also arrived quicker than thought. I suppose they came from China and I wish I could order goods made in the UK. Ironic really that this evil Pandemic came from China and the World is now buying their PPE !!!!

Comfortable

I knew this mask was going to take a few weeks before it was delivered but it did not arrive at all. I contacted the seller and another mask was shipped and arrived after a few days, so I was impressed with the prompt customer service in rectifying the problem. My son uses this mask mainly for school and is happy with it. It’s a good buy and comes with two filters and washes well and dries quickly.
