The strongest reason to choose Motul 7100 is that its specifications are clearly matched to modern four-stroke motorcycles. This version is SAE 10W-40, fully synthetic with an ester-based formulation, and meets JASO MA2 and API SN standards. JASO MA2 is particularly important for motorcycles that share oil between the engine, gearbox, and wet clutch, since ordinary automotive oil may not be appropriate for that system. The four-liter jug is also a practical quantity for many motorcycle oil changes and is easier to manage than buying several small bottles. Motul lists this oil for road, touring, cruiser, sport, off-road, ATV, and other four-stroke applications, including engines with catalytic converters. Still, viscosity and required standards should come from the owner’s manual, not from a general compatibility list. If the manual calls for 10W-40 and JASO MA2, this is a well-specified, convenient package rather than a one-size-fits-all choice.

I use this oil in my 2020 zx6r and I won’t use any other oil. Stays red for over 2k miles. Runs a lot quieter as well

Deine Nasskupplung wird es lieben !
Das beste vom Besten einfach. Wird in eine Sporttourer gefüllt. Die Kupplung flutscht und auch der Neutrale Gang wird zuverlässig gefunden dank diesem Öl. Man merkt deutlichen Unterschied selbst zum 5100 von Motul. Ich verwende dieses Öl jetzt schon beim zweiten Motorrad und es ist einfach perfekt.
