Easy install, works great just forgot to replace the drain plug and made a mess

This was the exact replacement for an Ocean Breeze brand window A/C at my in-law’s house.The swap is DIY, if you’re reasonably handy; not quite plug and play. Installing the new cord required removing the air conditioner from the window, and completely removing the front panel and the outer metal casing, to gain access to the wiring panel inside the unit where the cord is hooked up.

I inherited an almost new window AC unit that was not turning on. I had reason to believe the wiring of the house was at fault and the AC unit was still good, so I ordered this replacement cord (and had the house rewired). It was easy enough to install and now I have a functioning AC unit.

It’s worked pretty good

This was a perfect replacement for the melted power cord on our LG LP1018WNR portable air conditioner. The only inconvenience was, that we live in a rural area and no one for 220 miles could replace the power cord. We had to drive 440 miles round-trip to an appliance store in Northern Nevada to have it replaced. The owner looked at it and said, "Do you have some shopping to do? I'll have it done for you in a hour." Fabulous! Love that kind of service. I had called prior to visiting so he knew I'd come a long way. Started the drive home and the highway was closed due to the Caldor fire. We had detour east but still made it home same day. Always love an adventure. Thank you to the Amazon vendor for providing an excellent product description with product numbers, and a quality product. Saved us having to buy a new air conditioner.
